I have an idea I would very much like to do but I need to gauge interest first, so, would anyone be interested in an 18+ kpop fic club? Like a book club but for kpop fics.
Which basically means that there would be a specific fic (or two, maybe one sfw and one nsfw) for the club members to read in a certain time depending on how long the fic is, of course. And then everyone who has read it reblogs the fic with their review! I'd also make a compilation post per fic to link all the reviews to make it easier for everyone to track. Of course, you don't have to read every single fic, just those that interest you so there's no pressure to read every one!
This would mostly happen through a discord server I will make for the club, so we can discuss the fic too and members can give suggestions for future fics for us all to read! Plus I just think it'd be a great way for people to make friends who read fics. And also to find more fics to read in general.I'd probably make a sideblog for it too just to keep all posts in one place and not get mixed up with my personal stuff and own writing.
For now, because it's what I read, we'd start with Seventeen fics but if we get enough members who read for other kpop fandoms, we can definitely add fics from those fandoms to the club too! (as earlier stated, you won't have to read any fics from a fandom you're not in)

Who are we? The K-Fic Collection is a reading club where the goal is to read and share Kpop fanfiction to help promote the many wonderful works on Tumblr! The intention is that every member will write a little review for each piece they read, which will both be helpful for other readers and give some feedback and kind words to the author!
Tumblr honestly isn’t a very good place for fanfiction, most people just like fics which doesn’t help to share the writing, so we hope that by doing this we can give many talented authors the recognition they truly deserve.
Currently, we read specifically for the group Seventeen. However, we are open to expanding to other Kpop groups in the future if enough members are interested and our Librarians have time to admin the extra reads. A little about how the Club works; Every week, we will assign two fics for members to read and review, one SFW and one NSFW. Each weekly fic will have a word count of anything up to 10k.
We will also assign two monthly reads, one SFW and one NSFW. Each monthly read will have a word count of 10k - 30k.
Once a member has read a fic, they reblog it with their review and the Club review tag (#K-Fic Collection Review), plus whatever tags they personally feel like including, and our Librarians will compile all of the reviews into a post specifically for that fic!
If you are worried about writing reviews, please don’t be, we understand how daunting that can be if you’re not used to such things and have made up a little guide which you can find on our Tumblr.
Disclaimer Our Librarians do not read through fics before they are added to the Reads list so we can only go on warnings. It is not our fault if an author fails to add warnings or chooses not to, so please do not blame us if something pops up in a fic that hasn't been warned in the author’s own warnings. Please keep yourself safe and make your own judgement based on the information the author provides before reading anything. We cannot be held accountable. Thank you.
