A lot has changed about Canada’s immigration policies since the last election. Under Harper, new policies and programs have been put in place regarding welcoming new members to Canada’s growing communities. These programs and policies change who is seen as a citizen and how long it will take before they can become a citizen. Protections for Canadians abroad have changed as well. I’d like this blog to be as accessible to people as possible.
