there’s something so fascinating about writing. like us humans, tiny little insignificant creatures, can create hundreds of different worlds? our brains do that? and somehow manage to put it down on paper well enough that other people are able to extend those worlds via fanfics or movies, etc.

it’s beautiful.

currently reading the priory of the orange tree and just drowning in high fantasy world yk. the witcher, the wheel of time, priory, 28529258 other books i need to read and shows i need to watch... my own stories and worlds...

but yeah priory is amazing and queer and i love how everything ties in together and i just really recommend it.

yes i know it’s long but the characters, the worldbuilding and the plot are so worth it in my opinion. everything is so fleshed out it’s rad.

Watching your favourite movie on a big 4k screen but your only dvd player being your old xbox 360 which cannot give 4k quality is such a waste I want to cry

I mean we have another dvd player but I have no idea how it works

Yorgos Lanthimos' movies are truly amazing. Obviously they're not everyone's style, but they're masterpieces. I've only seen two (mostly motivated by my love for the talented Rachel Weisz) but both were excellent. I just don't have the words. If you're ever in search of good movies to watch, I highly recommend The Favourite and The Lobster.

Sometimes we should just let go and dive into the ocean of our dreams, choose one of them and hold on to it, no matter how crazy. Jumping's scary, but fear's a matter of the instant whereas regret will haunt you forever.
