while the stray cat story may have circulated in 2020 and 2022, this story is actually from the Leningrad Zoo in 2014. (here's the original russian article as well.)

these two felines were introduced at 6 weeks old in order to give more enrichment for the lynx and for education purposes, however they got along fantastically from the start and were eventually moved to permanently live with one another.

a much less exciting story, but a much cuter one as well.

Bob Ross teaches you using layering and color theory, which are principles which work no matter what you paint with. Some materials won’t blend the same as oils obviously, but as Ross himself said, “you can paint with almost anything.”

Paint along with whatever you have, it’s great practice.

I stopped what I was doing to go watch a Bob Ross video and paint along in CSP, and it was very relaxing! I used the oil paint brush in a couple sizes and the blend tool for “empty brush” and didn’t bother about the default brushes/colors not behaving quite like IRL would: fun vibes only etc. Highly recommend. Bob Ross is also lowkey hilarious.
