Right so. Many people don’t realize this, but uh. There are forms of speech that are not protected. If it’s a clear and present danger, it’s not protected.

I think that at this point the neo Nazis in America are a clear and present danger, marching through the street brandishing guns and wearing armor. That’s not free speech, that’s oppression and silencing anyone who disagrees with them in fear of getting shot.

It will take a few neo nazi fucks opening fire on peaceful protesters to actually get moderates to realize this is not an issue that can be resolved through discourse, tolerance, and trying to understand their side of things.

Only people who have no understanding of history would say that violence is inefficient or even a negative. Violence is the prime means for efficient change when you’re not a privileged class in a society with classes.

Most of the time a Nazi publicly surfaces they get punched. Look to Richard Spencer and the dude in Oregon. I'm not sure why OP finds it hard to believe people wouldn't punch Nazis.

As far as being arrested for assault, that's an injustice in the legal system. That's another thing anti-fascists criticize. It's among many things we recognize and oppose as significant fascist influence in the US government.

Perhaps there needs to be a lot of angry tweeting at the university, and protests, and physical mail, and e-mail, and phonecalls.
