i don’t really have any gaylor friends i can talk to about this so… i’m just going to tell you hahaha

So i was listening to Lana Del Rey the other day and realized how the masculinity of her muses is just so fucking evident and in your face throughout her discography. It’s not only about her use of he/him pronouns, she literally talks about her men in a way that makes you FEEL that they are men.

Anyways, so when you compare that to Taylor’s music where (even in songs where she uses he/him pronouns) it’s so easy to just imagine the muse as being a woman… idk. She doesn’t really sing about their masculine traits/attributes as much as other female artists writing about men do.

People always tell me her songs seem gay to me because i’m gay and just projecting what i want to hear onto her music… but it’s like… bitch, she makes it sOo easy… almost too easy… almost like it was supposed to be perceived that way.

Im sorry, this was so long, thank you for coming to my ted talk cam i love your pod ❤️

amazing fucking point tbh… the way taylor describes her muses it’s just impossible for me to picture men a lot of the time

I love how the episode is called “Chidi Sees the Time Knife”  but it has no bearing whatsoever on the plot

Sometimes you write a line and you’re just like “oh yeah, that’s a banger” and that is almost CERTAINLY what happened here
