Part of me thinks it might be time to archive and move Jasper to my indie, but other parts of me knows that’s a shitty idea because the moment the new season comes out I will return here. 

“What are you doing after school?” The question rolled from his lips as he set his books down beside her. “Forward, I know, but I figured we both could use a fun afternoon. If you want.”

“Kitchen!” he called as he heard the door close. Another snow day, another day he was stuck at home with nothing to do but play video games and let Netflix rot his brain. But with it nearing Christmas, he could help but feel the need to want to embrace it. It was a first, years since he wanted to, but as he gathered ingredients dancing around to the Christmas music on the radio, it only felt right to invite her over to make this day, in his mind, a perfect one. “Oh dad said leave shoes by the door, he’s already mopped today.”

“Its almost funny,” the chuckle lingered as his eyes drifted to the window, darting from start to star. “We started in space and ended here too.” He paused, letting the silence he had grown to hate fill some of the space.  “I do it all again, you know. I’d change a few things, save a few people, but I’d do it.” 

“No, I’m good,” the smoke drifted from his lips as he knocked the ash against the window pane, watching as it drifted into the night air. “Just needed to get away for a while. You know how it can be.”

“Do you think it’ll snow?” his eyes not leaving the painted sky, the frigged air making him wonder if their first winter was upon them. He didn’t have much he cared for anymore, but the idea of snow seemed to awaken the kid who first fell to ground. “I wonder if its great as they told us it was.”

Hit the heart for a small, probably fluffy or angsty starter!

I’m not returning yet, I’m not sure when I will come back. I’ve been really burnt out in general lately, but after a much needed break (aka the few days off I have for thanksgiving) I will try again. My activity will be very low, but I will try. 

I don’t want to post this, but I truly don’t know when I will be back on Jasper. I truly am not in the headspace to write him right now for a lot of reasons. I still adore him and this blog isn’t going anywhere, but I just need to deal with real life a little longer and get my head to a better place. The same goes for my other t100 blog @moraliityquestiioned, I will return to it when I can get my head back in the place to write it. Jasper wants to get high and play D&D with his friends. 

I really want soft things for Jasper (All my muses really, but especially him). I really want someone to listen to him as the sun breaks over the horizon, even if its just him rambling because he can’t sleep. Someone helping cheer him up on bad days even if its just them laying in bed with him for long, quiet hours.

I just want him to have the soft, quiet, happy ending he deserved.
