Yo ADHD folks are you looking for an app to help you remember to get stuff done?

Because if so I’d like to recommend Habitica!

You make a little avatar of yourself!

Totally customizable!

And!!! If you’re wheelchair bound, guess what! Wheelchairs for your avatar are free! Check it out!

You have the categories of Habits, Dailies, and a To-Do list

And every time you check something off, you get health and XP!

Huzzah! I leveled up!

Use your XP to buy items and rewards!

I'ma give my little avatar a new helmet!

You also can get little pets!

I hatched a dragon!

Go on quests!

Need a break? Check in at the Tavern for as long as you need!

It’s a habit tracker and to-do list… As a video game!

And here’s the best part - ITS FREE!

I have gotten so much better at getting things done because when I do I get to check in and get a reward right then! It really works for my ADHD brain so, so much better than just a regular ol checklist and I just really recommend checking it out!

For my fellow ADHD Famders, since I know there are so many of us!

I’ve been looking for apps that will help me remember to do stuff, maybe this will work for me! Thanks!

holy shit this looks fucking amazing

I’ve used this app! I very much like it. It genuinely helped me and I’ve been thinking about using it again lately. Would people be interested in a Fander guild? @thelogicalloganipus @ironwoman359 @moltengoldenstardust

I just did this!! I love it! I’d join the guild!!

I don’t have adhd, but I do have depression that makes it really hard to be motivated to do daily tasks so I’m going to try this!

pairing: steve x reader

Steve leaving was never an easy process. The day before he left for any mission, he would just hold on to you for as long as he could. Sometimes, you’d never leave your shared room. For hours, the two of you would lay in bed, bodies pressed up against each other, touch being the only thing you needed.

Part of you thought that Steve did this just for you. He knew that your anxiety would start acting up the moment he got on the quinjet. The other part of you knew that he needed this just as much. Steve often couldn’t handle the thought of leaving you alone in the city for any length of time. Unprotected, vulnerable to all of life’s enemies. But he had a job to do.

At the moment, you two were doing your ritual, your head on his chest, the rest on your body mostly on top on his. Steve was quietly humming an Etta James song while his hand ran up and down your back. I was near bedtime and you’d been like this all day long.

“Steve,” you whispered as you moved your head to look at his face. “Can you make me a promise?”

He hummed in response, kissing your forehead and bringing you closer to his body somehow. “What is it, doll?” you sighed, nervous to bring the subject up.

“Can you promise me that one day…” you trailed off as you drew circles on his chest with your finger. His hand came up to direct your gaze back to him, his eyes creased with concern. “That one day, this will the be the last one of these days we’ll have to do?” His mouth opened to answer, but your ramble cut him off.

“I don’t mean anytime soon, but I’d like to know that at some point, we’ll have a day like this and you’ll go on your mission, come back to me, and that’ll be it,” you looked away, resting your ear against his heart. “My heart can’t take you not coming back one day.”

From under you, the soldier sighed, his hand returning to stroke your back. “I’ll tell you what,” he said, sitting up, pulling you into his lap and resting his hand on your cheek. “I promise that someday, soon or not, we’ll have one last day like this. I can’t stand to part with you like this over and over again either. But you gotta promise me something in return doll.” He grinned. You raised an eyebrow and smiled graced your features.

Steve leaned over to his bedside table and reached in the drawer, pulling out his compass from his time in the war. “Wear this around your neck from now on.” He put it around your neck.

You held the compass in your hands as if it was a precious jewel. “But Steve, I can’t take this. It’s your compass, I know how important it is to you- “. Steve smiled, putting his hands around you.

“Yeah, but now it’s with something way more important.” You smiled, and wrapped your arms around his neck, pressing up against him again.

“I love you, Steve,” you whispered, not wanting to break the moment. “So fucking much.”

“Hey,” he chastised, “language.” You giggled. “Y/N, while I’m gone, and you’re missing me real bad, just open the compass and you’ll know I’m coming back to you.” You nodded, slightly confused.

“Let’s get ready to sleep, doll,” he began to fall back onto your shared, you staying directly on top of him.

Steve began humming a tune again, relaxing your heart. You looked out the window at the stars as they shined through the window brightly in the countryside where the compound was located. “I don’t like the stars,” you sighed. “They make me miss you. And I always miss you too much when I’m alone.”

He pulled you tighter against his chest. “I always miss you too much too. I miss your touch.” He dragged his hand up your side and you giggled at the sensation.

“I miss your kisses when your gone,” you nuzzled and pecked at his mouth and he hummed in agreement again. “What time do you leave in the morning?” you asked.

“Early. I’ll leave shortly after dawn. Do you want me to wake you up before I leave?” he kissed your forehead.

“I always do.”

You kissed his chest. His humming yet again resumed, lulling you to sleep. When Steve felt your breathing starting to slower, he pulled the blanket over the both of you. “Good night, sweetheart.”

Early in the morning, you felt the bed dip beside you and a hand rubbing your back. “Y/N, doll, wake up I gotta leave.” You moved to sit up to face your boyfriend. You immediately wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him into a crushing hug. He pulled you into his lap like before breaking from the hug to kiss you. Behind the kiss, there was sadness and passion, making it the type of kiss you could get addicted on. You both pulled away for air, resting your foreheads against each other.

“Come back to me,” you pleaded, with tears in your eyes. He smiled sadly and kissed your forehead.

“I always do.” And then he was gone.

It’d been several days since Steve left for his two-week mission and each day the sadness just got worse. Sure, there’d been longer missions before, but this one just felt different.

It was early morning by now, having not been able to sleep, and you were sitting outside on the roof of the compound. You had brought several blankets with you and bundled yourself up to look at the stars before the sunrise came up that morning. When you told Steve you had hated, the stars it was partially true. When he was with you, you adored the stars. They would often twinkle just like his eyes whenever he smiled. And of course, he was the star-spangled man.

But when he was gone, you loathed those stars. They were a constant reminder in your loneliest hours that there was a chance you might not get to see those eyes again. They were there to mock you that you wouldn’t get to see them for a while.

You huffed and pulled his hoodie you wore closer to your body, causing the compass you wore to press against your chest. You pulled it out of the hoodie and held it in your hands, remembering the promise you’d made each other just about a week before and clicked it open. If there was one perfect time to open it, it’d be now.

When it clicked open, a small velvet bag felt into your lap, you held it in your hand to look at later. Inside the compass was the picture of Peggy he’d kept all these years, but next to her face was a picture of you and him. With tears in your eyes, you took the picture out to get a better look. It was the picture you forced him to take on your first date. The both of you looking at each other with love in front the large Ferris Wheel at Coney Island. You turned the picture over with a sad smile, only to read “I’m coming back to you.”

You tucked the photo back into the lid of compass and closed it to focus your attention on the velvet bag. You wiped a few stray tears away from your face and undid the drawstring, pouring the contents of the bag into your hand. The velvet bag fell into your lap as your hand went to cover your mouth in shock.

The ring was gorgeous and simple. A gold band with a single diamond encased in a 1940’s setting. You slipped it on to you ring finger, tears streaming at full force by now. He was making a true promise now, one that meant he’d always come back to his wife, and promising you that this kinda pain wouldn’t last forever.

“It was my mother’s,” a voice from behind you broke the silence. You quickly turned in your seat to see Steve standing at the door to the roof. You threw the blankets off your body and ran to him. Both of your bodies collide in a bone crushing hug. “Yes, Steve,” you sobbed into his shoulder.

Shedding a few tears of his own, he murmured into your hair, “I told you I would come back to you.”

I’m not over this review of a self groomer for a three legged cat. Look at him. He hasn’t been able scratch his left side by himself since he lost his leg but now he can and he is living life the fullest. That is the face of a cat who has finally scratched an itch.
