Adagio, slowly, at ease.

A scene that was mentioned in a fabulous fanfic The River Variations by withouawish (as ao-oa on Tumblr)and here is the quote:

The sky is dark, but the bright autumn sun peaks just slightly over the London skyline, lighting Sherlock’s inky and errant curls seemingly from within.  The glow is refractive, and makes the detective look tinged soft and otherworldly fire bright.

Amazing fan fiction, it is.

sometimes you log onto your ten-year old tumblr and stumble across literal perfection that makes your jaw drop six stories down. a million thank yous is not enough.

when the TT algorithm perplexingly starts recommending things from your previous fandom life so, out of nothing more than sheer curiosity, you unlock your tumblr from 10 YEARS AGO (10 years ago!) and holy moly. it’s literally absolute night and day in the craziest of ways.

the moral of the story: keep moving forward, even if you have no idea which direction you’re supposed to go. what's meant for you won’t pass you by. And, most importantly, you’re going to be just fine, I promise.

Things in Good Omens that have no heterosexual explanation:

Crowley staring at Aziraphale as he eats.

“I know what you smell like.”

The paintball scene.

Crowley shoving Aziraphale against the wall.

Any time Crowley calls Aziraphale “angel.”

The entire 30-minute cold open of episode 3 (special shoutout though to Crowley saving the books and “You go to fast for me, Crowley.”)

The entire bandstand scene (”We can go off together”).

The second time Crowley asks Aziraphale to run away with him.

Aziraphale dancing in a “discreet gentlemen’s club” in the 1880s.

The look on Aziraphale’s face as he walks down the street after his fight with Crowley.

The bookshop fire scene and playing “Somebody to Love.”

The way Crowley says “Aziraphale” when he shows up at the pub (also the whole scene in the pub and the music that’s playing in the background).

“Look wherever you are, I’ll come to you.”

Crowley leaning close whispering “Leave it to me.”

The way Crowley stares at Aziraphale as he tells the story of Eden to Anathema.

“Come up with something or I’ll never talk to you again.”

All the little looks between Crowley and Aziraphale on the bench.

“You can stay at my place if you like.”

Lunch at the Ritz.

“To the world.”

Good Omens + Oscar Wilde Quotes 4/?

“The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself.” ― Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

Things we’ve collectively agreed on as a fandom that annihilate me:

  • Crowley’s full name is Anthony Janthony Crowley
  • Aziraphale and Crowley share one (1) brain cell
  • Crowley’s go-to sound when his brain cell is tied up is “Ngk”
  • Crowley’s love language is acts of service and Aziraphale’s is quality time
  • Michael Sheen 100% writes fanfics and is lurking around here somewhere. He’s a fucking MENACE.
  • Crowley was Raphael pre-Fall
  • Aziraphale had a fling with Oscar Wilde
  • Wing preening + snek cuddles
  • They definitely shared Crowley’s bed the night after the Apoca-nope

Seriously, you all are just the bee’s knees. What else should go on this list? :)
