First Attempts At Smut: Author's April #5

(Let's end the month with something truly terrifying! Here is a collection of super short stories I wrote ages ago that make me cringe for several reasons. These are quite possibly my earliest attempts at writing smut. Some include former OCs of mine and my friends. They're terrible. They're in bad taste probably. And they make me see how far I've come writing smut. Please read with caution.)

Tentacle Invasion:

Ever since the comet had hit earth, strange things had been happening. People were disappearing, there were strange anomalies, unexplained power outages, and many other things. Holly was a scientist who had just been assigned to work at the sight of the comet’s landing. Many women didn’t last long there, Holly heard. A lot of women quit for unexplained reasons.

Well, during her first few weeks Holly had been working with Dr. Lynch. He was a good looking older man, salt and pepper hair, deep green eyes, and he had big hands. He and Holly flirted back and forth for a while until one night when he ate Holly out. Soon they were having a hot affair, fucking each other in private sectors of the camp.

Sleeping Beauty: Author's April #4

(This was intended to be the sequel to my Huntress in the Castle story. It would have been about them rescuing Nadine and solving the curse on the castle once and for all.)

One:

My brothers had thought life in the royal palace would be boring. They were used to doing what they wished, going wherever they pleased. In the palace they had certain restrictions, but outside they were given free run. Even among the knights, which is where they spent most of their time. They trained with the knights, challenging them to playful bouts.

Beyond the palace walls they mingled among the common people easily, after all that was who we were. They went to the sea, fishing and running about the docks. They traded amongst the shops and cobblers. And even within the palace their individual interests were met.

D’Arcy had become the royal physicians assistant, and was often found with the Queen’s apothecary. Craig took to the horse houses and the animals of the palace. The queen kept quite the menagerie in the garden. Finn was often either at sea or with the knights. Or causing trouble. But that was normal Finn. Peadar was the same as well, often keeping to himself, watching the others with a kindly eye. He would place himself in the gardens or in the kitchen where he could watch the comings and goings with ease. And the kitchen did feel more like home.

Mathias the Goblin: Part Two

The story of Audrey and Mathias continues. is life after love possible between these two? Distance and time stand between them, and their own hearts are struggling. What would you do?

Female Main Character X Male Monster

Neither Audrey nor Mathias slept the previous night. Attractions and distractions had been the bane of their existence. Early morning couldn’t come soon enough, and when they both stepped out upon their verandas, they noticed the other at almost the exact same moment. The veranda in the middle was a vast desert separating their two oases.

Mathias waved first, and Audrey smiled first.

“Good morning,” Audrey said, shyly lifting her fingers.

Mathias nodded, very aware of how half-naked he was. “Did you sleep at all?”

Shrugging, Audrey looked away embarrassed. The neighbors between them had gone on quite a long time that night before breaking and going back at it again.

“Yeah,” he laughed and leaned against the railing. “Same.”

They were both quiet for a long moment, but Mathis glanced from the corner of his eye at Audrey in her sleep clothes. How that tank top was holding in those perfect breasts of hers, he’d only be able to dream about it. But it was also the way her hair fell, the long white curls free from her usual braid flowed freely around her shoulders like snow. A regular snow princess if he ever saw one.

“I gave Gwen headphones,” Audrey muttered.

Mathias the Goblin: Part One

Do you believe in life after love? Sometimes, you have to move on from something, good or bad. Finding love with someone else can be scary, hell, involve kids and it can get real scary. but imagine if you will, the wonderful atmosphere of a vacation, an amusement park can be hectic. You'd want an extra set of hands, right?

Female Main Character x Male Monster

They had both first seen each other checking into the hotel. It was a casual glance, one that neither would think about even in their most bored of moments. Audrey was checking in, her daughter’s hand in her own as she spoke to the front desk. Mathias had just done the same and was pulling his luggage while his young son rode upon it.

Mathias spotted Audrey first, and how could he not. She was a beautiful, shapely goddess. Her lilac skin was flecked with darker freckles, and her long white hair really brought out the dark blue of her eyes.

It was only when Mathias was entering the elevator did Audrey noticed him. But only because she missed getting on with him. She did notice the strong arms and barreled chest of the handsome goblin. But it was his laughter with his son that really perked her curiosity.

The next time the two spotted one another was when they were coming out of their rooms. They were next door to one another with a room between them. Mathias was going to get ice while Audrey was going to get some fun drinks. They stood in the elevator, quiet and still.

“Slow, ain’t it?” Mathias was the first to break the ice.

Audrey looked at him surprised, having not spoken to a soul besides her daughter for most of the day. “Oh. Yes!” She laughed. She fidgeted with her long white hair. “That’s what my daughter said when we first got on.”

Sucks 2BU: Author's April #3

(This was when I was watching True Blood as well as Twilight ages ago. I wrote this as my take on the vampire genre, and I am horribly embarrassed by it now. It's bad, in terms of execution and the send up to the vampire genre. It was my first foray in writing adult stuff, so take it for what it is I suppose. Enjoy, or don't. Read with caution, I dare you.)

Chapter One: 3 Annes

The sun was setting on the twenty-four hour diner on the highway. Inside the staff was moving around listlessly. The only customers inside was a sobering drunk with his pissed-as-hell wife sitting in the back corner booth. And three seemingly young girls, one brunette, one honey blonde, and one darker brunette. All sitting in a tiny booth along the wall beside the kitchen. The sun was coming in heavily through the shutters along the back corner but the girls were nicely shaded by advertisement posters and a crane machine game.

Joanne, who preferred to be called Jo, sat by herself on one side of the table pretending to read the newspaper. Jo was the kind of brunette media loved to portray, intelligent, snarky, witty and with an understated beauty. She was short and had the sort of Marilyn Monroe hour glass figure that would of made a Playboy centerfold back in the day. Her hair was the color of a melted chocolate bar and was cut in shaggy layers around her head and parted far to the left. Peering out from behind this mop-top was a set of eyes so steely blue and off putting people nearly always avoided looking directly at her.

War on the Mists :Author April #2

(This was another novel I was working on. The characters are ones I have used before and would love to use again. Heloise is one of my favorite OC I've ever created, and she's stayed with me forever. I was also super-duper into Revolutionary Girl Utena at the time. Anyways, this was my take on the Arthurian legends. There is a lot more to this if you all want to see the rest.)

Chapter One:

Just beyond the gates of Cleatom Academy is a wide polished stone with a slit in it’s center. It sits in the center of a wide, shallow pond. Water pours continuously from the slit, filling the pond and creating a simplistic work of art for all those you come to the school to see. The students referred to it as Stone Lake.

I had seen Stone Lake first through a brochure that I had come across when I had finally convinced my father to take me off home schooling. It took some hard work and heavy screaming to convince him to let me attend Cleatom. But I already knew all about Cleatom Academy. It is an academy was for the children of powerful people, people like my father. It was a place to turn the children of said people into equally powerful people, the kind of person I was afraid of becoming. Despite my dislike of the place and it’s populace I am looking forward to the transfer. There was a reason I had been needling my father for years about Cleatom. Not only is it a boarding school, which meant I would be able to breathe, I’d be out from my father’s oppressive, suffocating house. But there was something much more. Something I had been fighting for since I was a child. I would be able to see my brother Ty. The most beloved person in my life and someone who has been kept too far out of reach from me for too long.

Rain the Nahual

Just in case ya'll were wondering from the title what a Nahual is, I'll go ahead and tell you. The Nahual is a Mesoamerican shapeshifter, better yet, a human who can shapeshift into their tonal animal. This one is a leopard!

Female Reader x Male Monster

It was early in the morning, but the darkness that seeped from outside felt eerie. The cold rain that pattered on the roof added to that somewhat spooky atmosphere as you turned on the coffee pot.

“Man, this rain is starting to be a bit much,” you grumbled under your breath. You stepped away as the coffee pot started up, making all the dramatic bubbly noises of something twenty years past its prime.

You turned on the lights for your office, stepping barefoot into the workspace to get the computers up and running so they weren’t molasses slow when you had to get to work. You yawned loudly, scratching the back of your neck then looking back towards the calendar on the wall. The dry erase board held a rainbow of colors, each signifying due dates and upcoming events. You then saw a few marks on the board you didn’t recognize and walked up closer to get a good look.

They were doodles of you, looking like some ancient wall art of an angry volcano deity. The only reason you knew it was you was because the hair was green and curly.

“Fucking Rain,” you grumbled under your breath. “I do not look like that.” You smeared away one of the doodles with your thumb then stomped back into the kitchen. “He wants angry I’ll show him fucking angry,” you continued to fumed through clenched teeth.

Coffee would help, coffee would soothe the spite. Mostly anyways.

April Fool's! Author April 2024 #1

I posted some of this on Patreon and it got some good feedback. But I wanted to share some stuff before I posted it. I found a file with a ton of old writing on it. If you were on Patreon in October you got to see some of this mess. For Author April I decided to share here so ya'll can see where I started. I've been writing since I was ten, but I started writing original works around the time I got out of high school. Anyways, this is Wild Adapter. It was from 2009.

I was barely 20.

This story is FIFTEEN years old. But anyways...

I found the old book cover I made for this story and I wanted to share despite how humiliatingly bad it is. I am already considering reworking it and making it a novel by rewriting, editiing and changing a lot. My bff even gave the news that she so loved a character from this story she considered naming one of her twins after them.

So like, maybe this is worth investing time and love back into, maybe it's worth revisiting my late teens early twenties and see if that idiot had something going I can finish. Let me know, would love to make this a journey to share next year!

Prologue

Fate leads the willing and drags along the unwilling. -Seneca

When I was little, my father took me to where he worked. He was a doctor for a special orphanage and some of his patients had been asking to see me. The entire time we were there, Dad never let go of me, and whenever he did he was so close beside me it was like he was my shadow. Dad had never been this protective of me before. At the park he let me run free as long as I stayed in his sight, but he never watched me like a hawk.

He showed me into a room that had four sets of bunk beds, and I found it odd considering the room was so small. Then there were six boys and two girls. The two girls clamored around me, held me, kissed me, cooed and giggled to me. The six boys watched me with curiosity. They were amazingly still and quiet, only whispering to one another for brief moments. They were watching me as if I were some sort of fascinating animal. It looked like they wanted to approach me but were afraid I’d run away from them if I did.

Rhys the Lizardman

A former courtesan has carved out a new life for herself. Her past in the dangerous parts of the Ruby Empire are far behind her. That is, until a familiar shadow in her door returns, seeking asylum and healing from her tender touch. Female Reader x Male Monster

It had been windy and overcast all day. Dark clouds hung upon the horizon while pale gray covered the sun overhead. It was no surprise to you when it started raining. The area cleared out, no one was on the road outside, and everything was veiled in fog. It gave the sense of abandonment, but really, the lights inside houses reassured you there was still life about.

Despite the feeling of nothing to do that rain brought about, you set about some busy work that would help the day go faster tomorrow. You took out the large blocks of soap and set about cutting them. You were so used to the scent you never noticed it much. But as that taut string sliced through the bars, you got whiffs of the fragrant perfumes and oils within the bar.

“Maybe some tea would be nice,” you murmured to yourself after slicing up the first bar. You took off your proactive gloves and went over towards the stove. You were gathering up the kettle to fill with water when you heard something outside.

Alcide the Vampire

Vampires in space is basically the theme of this story. Well, not really, but that seems eye catching. A young, mortal, woman is the charge of a vampire royal whose ship is on the way back to the vampire planet. She is unsure if she is kept for love or duty, and her vampire master seems extremely dependent on her presence.

(TW: blood, dark romance)

Female Reader x Male Monster

I wish I was like the others. This thought comes to me as I stare out towards the foot of my bed. I would like to dream forever as the others do, to sleep perchance to wake. I remove myself from bed, setting my feet down upon the cold floor. There are no windows to speak of here, but they place curtains upon the wall as if to mimic one.

I am not alone long, I am never alone long. My attendants are many, but they are more like guards. They assure I look my best, that I stay in place, that I am never too far from my family. Not that Alicde would let me stray anyways. He needs me, and I need him as well.

To dream forever, I think as they dress me. To lie in one place, resting, unconscious, unaware. They do not know what goes on around them. The others. Nowhere and yet everywhere. Meanwhile, I am everywhere but nowhere.

“There we are, princess.” Lady Renata whispers to me as she finishes putting on the cuffs around my wrists. She smoothes down my shirt then reaches up and does the same to my long hair. She gives me a look, her nearly hollow eyes stare just a bit too long for my taste.

Then a smile crosses her lips and she nods to me. “You are ready.”

Lyco the Plant Monster

Let's go back to the Ruby Empire for a little bit. The royal family has a greenhouse that's, let's just say, gone unnoticed. Queen Mythri wants to make something of it to help the kingdom, and hopefully she's hired the right man for the job. Male Reader x Nonbinary/Masculine Monster

“I’m afraid the old place is sort of, well…” she seemed hesitant to explain the complete state of the royal greenhouse. “Let’s just say it’s been a while since it had the proper caregiver.” Mythri was everything you had expected. Or perhaps, she was a little more human than that.

It had been her letter that brought you to the capital of the empire. Somehow, through word of mouth, she had heard about your skill with plant-life and she called you to the royal palace.

“How long has that been?” You asked.

Mythri made a face, then turned to her teenaged son who had been following along. “Dhaval, darling, do you remember when Astri was last here?”

“I was little.” Dhaval held his palm just below his knee. “I remember you telling me to not go near here more than I remember Astri.”

A guilty look plagued the queen’s face and she smiled uncomfortably at you. “So yes, I’m afraid I’m giving you what could possibly be an impossible task. But you can hire a staff as big as you need.” She took out a key from a pocket on her belt and approached the greenhouse door.

Jasper the Bugbear: Part Two

Jasper and Cara return! The two have been separated for some time so the tension has built. Your favorite bugbear and spy couple must deal with the space between them, as well as a coven of witches. Read Part One Here! Female Main Character x Male Monster

My last post was much nicer than this one. The view was better, the people were nicer. Here, I had a brick wall over a piss soaked alleyway to look at. I wasn’t even in walking distance of anything good, just some seedy bars that even I wouldn’t dare set foot into. The last place was small, but at least I was close to good food. And of course I was close to the bookstore.

How long has it been since I was last there? Basking in the warmth of the place where the scent of the pages was just as strong as the tea being brewed in the back. I sighed heavily, imagining the well dressed owner of the store behind the counter. His gruff appearance softened by a fine waistcoat and shimmering gold glasses.

I fogged up the glass as I sighed heavily. “Who knows how long this job is going to take,” I pouted. I turned, seeing a letter had been slid under the door. I had been so lost in thought, I never even noticed it arrived.

“Let’s see what we have here,” I muttered as I picked it up. It was unusually heavy. But then again, this job itself was a bit more hefty than normal.

Corruption amongst the peacekeepers was running amok. It was seeping slowly into all corners, as agents were going around to small towns and villages where their unscrupulousness wouldn’t be noticed right away. From there they could reach out to bigger towns, even large cities, furthering their wicked ways.

The Magician's Assistant

I thought for this valentine's day we would bring in a little whimsy. A story that is very much about magic and curses as it is about the romance. Our leading lady is under a curse, one that she has dealt with for most her life and is used to, but a curse nontheless. her employer, a magician, is also under the thumb of a curse that has left him deeply depressed. Between spell books and bakery visits she has her hands quite full. Female Main Character x Male Monster

Pouring coffee is my first task in the morning. Well, I suppose making the coffee would be my real first task, but the magician only gave me the instructions for how he liked his coffee made. Brown sugar, only brown sugar. Should he taste white sugar or even one of the artificial monstrosities, he would watch me empty the entire kitchen until the offending sweetener is gone. Just a little milk, then a little more cream. Why he doesn’t take half and half, I don’t know. After the sweetener remark, I do not ask.

The magician is found in his study, always his study. He lounges there after he wakes up. The fire is lit, it’s always lit, and one leg is jutted out farther, and stiffer than the other.

“Your coffee is ready,” I said plainly and quietly. Not too loud, not too soft. Even my delivery has instructions.

The magician looks at me, eyes blank, expression even more unreadable. “Thank you, Delphi.” He held his hand out flat to receive the mug. I placed it into his palm, and a clink greeted my ears.

Ah, more fingers have grown stiff, I think.

The magician took the mug, bringing it to his other hand. “Have you checked the mail yet?” He asked with his rough voice.

“Not yet,” I said, folding my hands against my skirt.

Ozren: A Preview

Here it is, a preview of all my efforts, and hopefully the motivation I need to do the hard work of editing. I've been trying to get the Ozren novel done for so long now. At times I felt like a failure I couldn't. But now, it's here, and I'm so proud of it! I hope you enjoy this little taste. This is not the final product, this is a rough draft version of things. Rue- Female Main Character Ozren- Male Orc Lead

Prologue:

I am not sure why, but ever since I was little I had kept a secret savings. I was just hiding extra coins given to me by some of my father’s associates, business partners and friends. I never thought much about it. As I grew older though, my intent to save all change and allowances was much more purposeful. Whatever I didn’t need to spend, it was all tucked away.

I heard my father from down the hall. He was speaking in a pompous manner, which alerted me to company. “Rue’s not much to look at mind you, but she comes from good stock. Her mother’s side of the family is well known for their long bloodlines.”

I quickly hid my savings away, tucking the box behind an old doll on the shelf. I prepared myself, smoothing down my skirt and making sure my hair was still all pushed up on the top of my head. I then sat posed at my desk, pretending to write something, but really it was all for show. Like my father said, I was to be seen and not heard.

“That’s wonderful news,” the man said. “I have always wanted a large family. I was an only child mind you. So was my father, and his father. We’ve gone to a trickle, I'm afraid.”

Art the Orc

If you live in a small town, maybe you'll know this place. It's a little art store run by the same family for ages. It's not changed in all that time either. Picture it, feel it, you know it's the only place that sells that one supply you like. Now, imagine an orc behind the counter. Female Reader x Male Monster

The visage of the old place looked like it had once been a gas station. There was one of those big metal awnings and signs that gas pumps had once been outside. But everything else looked like the art supply store it was. The window was painted, done up with flowers and a flourishing font, but it hadn’t been touched in ages and was chipping and weathering away.

The old place had seen better days, you could tell. But you were excited to tackle such a special project with your own two hands.

Inside the place had a familiar smell of paint thinner, book pages, and coffee. You looked around the front as the bells on the door chimed. The old floor had seen better days and was worn out where you stood, even the welcome mat was hard to read.

“Welcome to Greengold Creative Station,” the deep voice came from behind the front desk where there was an open door. ‘I’ll be out with you in just a moment.”

“Take your time,” you replied. You continued to look around, noting the mismatched shelving and thrown together renovations dotting the place.

A moment later, a large orc came from the back. He was wearing thick glasses and had on a corded cardigan that covered a paint splattered t-shirt.
