Night at the Museum Animated Movie 🚨UPDATE🚨

So the Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again IMDb page has changed drastically!

We now have a full cast listed with who they will be voice acting and it is no one from the original cast (although, Thomas Lennon, one of the original script writers, will be voice acting Teddy Roosevelt; he also was Wilbur Wright in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian along side co-writer Robert Ben Garant who played Orville Wright). Though I recognize a few names, I am now worried about the characters (not so much the story) as I recall the Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian video game where the only original cast member was Ben Stiller as Larry Daley and the rest of the voice acting was sub par. Though I suspect the animation will be much better and I hope the voice acting will be, too.

As a NATM fan, I still want to watch the movie, but I am not anticipating it as much as I once was. I know that there is also a play/musical in the works, but where that is a different genre I would expect it to be very different, but a movie (whether it’s animated or not) is a movie.

The movie is supposedly to come out this year and both the first and third NATM movies came out around Christmas so I believe that is when we can expect it.

That’s all for now. Here’s the link to the IMDb page:

Night at the Museum Animated Movie News

Good news!

For those of you who didn't know, an animated NATM movie has been in the works and we now have (or, really, I just found out) a title and description.

I'm also happy to say that some of the original cast has been recasted as the voice actors for their respective roles.

This movie is to supposedly come out this year, however, since there is not even a poster on the IMDb page, who's to say we might have to wait until next year?

Anyway, I'm very excited to see it and I just hope the animation style and story do these beloved characters and franchise justice.

Here's the IMDb page if you'd like to look through it yourself.

Night at the Museum News

Hello Night at the Museum fandom! It's been awhile since I've posted, but I wanted to thank those of who have liked my posts and have followed me through my absence.

When I started this account, I didn't think a lot of people, or really anyone, still liked these movies as much as I do. I'm so glad I was wrong!

When I gain more time for this account, I'm hoping to make some fan art. In the meantime, I have some news (if you haven't heard it yet) about more things to come for NATM.

There was a live stream on Sept. 10th where there was a reunion with the cast and it was so good to see everyone again (especially Steve Coogan and Owen Wilson). I’ll provide the link to the stream at the bottom of this post and timestamp the plans for the franchise.

Although you have probably heard within the great abundance of announcements from Disney+ that an animated Night at the Museum is in the works and you may be weary of it; I for one am excited. Unfortunately, if there is a fourth live action movie, Robin Williams’ Teddy would most certainly be cut from said movie. I think that whoever is directing this animation (since Shawn Levy will only be producing it) can easily find a person to reenact Teddy’s voice. My only concern is that the rest of the original cast voices the rest of the characters.

Anyway, I hope you’re all doing well and enjoy the holidays. Please feel free to leave comments about your own opinions about the upcoming installments. And if you haven’t already, watch the whole live stream. It’s very sweet and full of trivia. :)

@rome-and-other-history but Owen Wilson's photoshoot in unzipped pants and booty shorts

Hi! I thought this was Owen Wilson the first time around, but after seeing this again I did a reverse image search and it turns out that this is actually German photographer Peter Berlin. But I did find photos of Owen to hopefully satisfy you. :D
