Riverdale Imagine: Pandora's Box (Archie x Reader)

Requested by @rileytanghe : Hi I saw that your requests were open and I was wondering if you could do a story for riverdale! And it would be like how you’re the new girl and your attitude and personality is like a mix of Cheryl, Betty, and Veronica… and you become friends w/ “the sad breakfast club” and Archie has like his eye on you… and you can take it from there. And could it be like cute with some drama so the reader can show off her personality…

A/N: I will edit, add a word count, and add to my masterlist when I get back from holiday.

As you stepped through the doors of Riverdale High for the first time, you knew that you had found the perfect place to reinvent yourself. The stiletto heels of your knee-high black boots clicked noisily on the white tiled floor as you made your way down the centre of the corridor, your confidence enhanced by your gorgeous black skinny jeans and dangerously low-cut and see-through emerald green blouse. Other students merely stared at you. Guys looked you up and down appealingly and girls in shabby jeans and t-shirts regarded you with astonishment and obvious jealousy. Arriving at your locker without giving anyone a second glance, you began unloading books from your (fake) Louis Vuitton handbag and carefully reapplied your perfume.

“Oh my God! Is that Louis Vuitton?” you heard someone squeal behind you.

You turned around and was faced with a beautiful raven-haired girl with large dark eyes and a bright smile. A string of huge white pearls clung around her neck, hugging her throat perfectly.

“You must be Veronica Lodge” you flashed a smile at her.

“Please! Call me Ronnie, we’re practically best-friends already!” She giggled, you couldn’t help but join in, her laughter was contagious. “So, are you ready for an amazing tour of the world’s worst high-school?”

————- By lunchtime, Veronica had shown you around the whole school and introduced you to everyone who she considered worth knowing. You sensed that you had already made an enemy of the highly-popular Cheryl Blossom, she didn’t seem to appreciate the idea of another queen-bee in Riverdale, and you quickly figured out that Chuck Clayton was to be kept clear of after Veronica aggressively mouthed “NO” at you from behind his back when he introduced himself.

As the lunch-bell rang, Veronica excitedly pulled you over to a group of sofas in the middle of the student lounge where fours teenagers were sitting, three guys and one blonde girl.

“Listen up bitches! This is my new friend Y/N, she’s just moved to this shit-hole from New York” chimed Veronica, sounding as though she was introducing a new pet.

“What are those and where did you get them?” A dark-haired boy in a blue sweater demanded, gazing at your boots lovingly. “I’m Kevin by the way” he continued, still staring at your boots.

“A lady never tells” you laughed, winking at him.

“I like her” Kevin beamed, “can we keep her?”

Veronica rolled her eyes dramatically and slumped down on the chair opposite Kevin, he grabbed your hand before you could object and pulled you down next to him. Veronica then went on to introduce the others; Jughead, Betty, and Archie. Jughead had his arm around Betty and gave you a slight nod while Betty smiled at you shyly. The red-haired boy in the chair next to you was the one who really caught your attention though. His white t-shirt was stretched slightly over his muscular chest and a classic letterman jacket was slung carelessly over his shoulders. His red hair was messy - sticking up in every direction - and he had an adorable tiny scar in between his dark eyebrows. You blushed slightly when you noticed that he was starring at you with his chocolate-brown eyes.

“I’m Archie” he smiled at you.

“Hi” you managed. You saw Veronica roll her eyes again and give Kevin a knowing look, were you really being that obvious?

“I’ve always wanted to go to New York” Archie continued, “what’s it like?”

“It’s the greatest place on earth” you sighed, momentarily missing the bright lights and vibrant atmosphere. You watched at Archie subconsciously touched the guitar that was propped against his chair. “Especially for music, it’s every musician’s dream. You any good?”

“Uhh” he blushed at your directness. “I’ve been given an audition for Juilliard.” His voice was quiet, unconfident.

“Not bad then” you laughed.

“I guess not” he beamed.

—————– You had been at Riverdale High for a month and you had successfully become one of the ‘Sad Breakfast Club’, laughed in Cheryl’s face when she suggested/demanded that you become a River Vixen, and you were falling hard for Archie. Cheryl’s hatred of you was common knowledge around school, and often cause for gossip, but it reached its height in October when Cheryl invited the whole school to her birthday party and you were not included.

“Wear something sexy!” Cheryl demanded, addressing your group at lunchtime. “And Betty, that means lose the cardigans.”

“Uhh Cheryl?” Betty piped up.

“What, loser?” Cheryl snapped.

“Y/N hasn’t got an invite -”

“What’s your point?” She gave Betty a look that could kill, the blonde stared down at her feet. You snorted. “What is it, pig?” Cheryl hissed.

“I was just thinking what a coincidence it is that your birthday party is on exactly the same day as the house party I’m having” you said enthusiastically.

“What are you talking about?” Cheryl spat. Kevin leant forward in his seat and clapped his hands excitedly, eager for the drama that was about to play out in front of him. Veronica raised her eyebrows, even Jughead looked up from his laptop screen and smirked at you.

“Well, I wouldn’t be a very good new girl if I didn’t invite the whole school over, would I?” You were grinning now. Cheryl’s brown eyes narrowed at you suspiciously.

“Well it’s obvious whose party they’re going to come to.” Cheryl sneered before flouncing off in search of her minions.

After a moment’s silence, Kevin turned to you.

“That is the bitchiest thing I have ever seen in my life. I think I love you!” he squealed.

“So when you say 'the whole school’ is invited…” Betty questioned nervously.

“I mean the whole school. Everyone is going to have to make a choice between my party or Cheryl’s, even her minions” you laughed.

“When were you planning to tell us about this?” Archie asked, slightly bemused.

“You’re the first to know, Cheryl only just gave me the idea.”

—————- The house was swarming with bodies, packed closely together and dancing in the multi-coloured lights to deafening music. Despite the chill of late October, teenagers were even spilling out into your garden, watering your mum’s rose bushes with beer and vodka. You silently thanked God that she decided to visit your aunt in New York this weekend. Although you couldn’t possibly count everyone, you were pretty sure that the majority of Riverdale High was crammed in your house and you smiled gleefully to yourself at your victory.

“Congratulations!” A familiar voice called from behind you and you turned around to find Archie unusually close to you, his breath tickled your skin and your heart began to hammer in your chest. “I’m pretty sure you have beaten Cheryl. You should get a medal or something!” He chuckled, reaching for your hand. His hand was warm, calloused from playing his guitar, and it fit perfectly around your own.

“I certainly deserve a prize!” You giggled. You reached your other hand around his neck and pulled him towards you, you felt a warm feeling in the pit of your stomach as he ran his other hand down your arm and onto your waist. Hesitating only slightly, you brushed your lips gently against his. He moaned and deepened the kiss, running his tongue lightly over your lower lip, his hand entwining in your hair. You broke away and leant up to whisper in his ear. “Want to come upstairs?”

In your intoxicated state, you had forgotten about how your bedroom would completely betray your personality. It was like Pandora’s box, unleashing all of your secrets. Archie stared in shock at the baby-pink duvet cover, princess dressing table, and abundance of fairy lights while you giggled hysterically at his confusion.

“Were you expecting black drapes, heavy-metal posters, and a coffin?” You teased.

“Not the coffin” Archie replied, winking at you. Then his attention was caught by something behind you and you could have sworn that his eyes nearly popped out of his head. “You never said that you played the cello!” He said in astonishment, pointing at the beautifully polished instrument that had been placed lovingly on its stand.

“Oh yeah” you mumbled, slightly embarrassed.

“You any good?” He teased.

“Actually” you smiled, “I’ve been offered an audition for Juilliard.”

“Your kidding!”

“Nope” you tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear nervously. As you peered back up at the red-haired boy who looked completely out of place in your baby-pink bedroom, you blushed. He was looking at you as though you were the whole world.

This is soo good💕

Being on the Avengers with Peter Parker would include..

- LMFAO y’all a bunch of headasses to begin with

- having the most precious relationship in the world

- A LOT of running around avengers tower

- and annoying tony

- taking dorky polaroids of one another

- becoming the iconic young duo of the avengers that is always talked about in the media

- being inseparable from each other

- reason behind that is that you two were the youngest in the team and felt a connection upon your first meeting

- always training together at headquarters

- (y/n) please don’t do that thing with your leg today’

- helping each other with homework

- natasha thinking that you two are the biggest dorks in the world

How to talk to your daughter about her body, step one: Don’t talk to your daughter about her body, except to teach her how it works. Don’t say anything if she’s lost weight. Don’t say anything if she’s gained weight. If you think your daughter’s body looks amazing, don’t say that. Here are some things you can say instead: “You look so healthy!” is a great one. Or how about, “You’re looking so strong.” “I can see how happy you are – you’re glowing.” Better yet, compliment her on something that has nothing to do with her body. Don’t comment on other women’s bodies either. Nope. Not a single comment, not a nice one or a mean one. Teach her about kindness towards others, but also kindness towards yourself. Don’t you dare talk about how much you hate your body in front of your daughter, or talk about your new diet. In fact, don’t go on a diet in front of your daughter. Buy healthy food. Cook healthy meals. But don’t say, “I’m not eating carbs right now.” Your daughter should never think that carbs are evil, because shame over what you eat only leads to shame about yourself. Encourage your daughter to run because it makes her feel less stressed. Encourage your daughter to climb mountains because there is nowhere better to explore your spirituality than the peak of the universe. Encourage your daughter to surf, or rock climb, or mountain bike because it scares her and that’s a good thing sometimes. Help your daughter love soccer or rowing or hockey because sports make her a better leader and a more confident woman. Explain that no matter how old you get, you’ll never stop needing good teamwork. Never make her play a sport she isn’t absolutely in love with. Prove to your daughter that women don’t need men to move their furniture. Teach your daughter how to cook kale. Teach your daughter how to bake chocolate cake made with six sticks of butter. Pass on your own mom’s recipe for Christmas morning coffee cake. Pass on your love of being outside. Maybe you and your daughter both have thick thighs or wide ribcages. It’s easy to hate these non-size zero body parts. Don’t. Tell your daughter that with her legs she can run a marathon if she wants to, and her ribcage is nothing but a carrying case for strong lungs. She can scream and she can sing and she can lift up the world, if she wants. Remind your daughter that the best thing she can do with her body is to use it to mobilize her beautiful soul.
