Tumblr has shown itself to be pro-Israel and has been spreading pro-Israel propaganda.
Some have been leaving this site altogether in light of this news, others have been minimizing their posting to only be about Palestine (and not only due to the global strike), etc.
Regardless of what you do or don't do on this site, one thing should be absolutely clear:
Do not support the Tumblr brand in any way, shape, or form.
Do not give them your money, do not give them positive reviews, do not speak positively of the staff, none of that.
Continue spreading support for Palestine. Continue uplifting Palestinian voices. Shout out Palestinian creators.

When I was looking for a job my dad got me to take some online data analysis classes so I had something on the table, but my beginner course was five weeks long, and I only got a one week free trial, and I really did not feel like spending any money, so I just did five weeks of coursework in five-six days and got my certificate.

I just watched a man burn himself screaming Free Palestine.
He was an active soldier. He said "compared to what the people in Palestine are facing, this is not extreme at all". I can't believe I just watched him die. Just one second there, the next one gone. One moment he was screaming free palestine, words coming out of his mouth all rushed because he was in agony, then he was just screaming, THEN he screamed free palestine one last time.
Is Biden going to say he protects all americans again? When there was another guy with a gun ready to shoot him in case he survived?

BOYCOTT EUROVISION FOR ISRAEL PARTICIPATION.
I am the Eurovision gay this time of year, I love this show. Not only is my country hosting 2024 but it's also in a city I love, but I can't watch as people sing about peace and love while Palestinians are getting killed by one of the participants.
I've complied a couple of petitions, open letters and information regarding Eurovision: Eurovision isn't the highest priority regarding Gaza, but this show is marketing & tourism for countries, Israel is using it to pink wash their politics
According to SVT, Swedish television network in charge of Eurovision 2024 in Sweden Malmö, Eurovision is apolitical, and therefore Israel qualify. They refer to any calls for boycott meaningless ( via )
SVT statement:
Eurovision has always been political, and was created as a celebration of peace after WW2. Songs are statements, and EBU took action by banning Russia and Belarus for the invasion of Ukraine. It's a way to show sympathy and solidarity, which Gaza is in need of now.
Why Eurovision is so important to Israel is the opportunity of pink washing, and appearing liberal and LGBTQ-friendly, that the show encourages. This leads to great marketing and tourism for the country, alqueerian on twt did a great thread about it:

Other worthy ones to email are the Slovenian broadcaster, RTVSLO who has called for the EBU to expel Israel.
Iceland (RÚV) and Finland (YLE) previously said they are considering leaving if Israel takes part. Finland’s representative, Windows95Man, has not yet confirmed if he will be attending as he wants Israel out.
If you’re aiming at other broadcasters, Belgium has their continued support for UNRWA and has one of their buildings in Gaza attacked because of that. Their broadcaster for this year is RTBF (don’t contact VRT as they’re not dealing with this year’s edition).
If you contact the UK (BBC), make sure to point out that (after the Israeli government attacked Olly Alexander with a thinly veiled threat), they attempted to lobby the UK government to convince the BBC to fire Olly as the UK entry. Countries aren’t allowed to interfere with another nation’s selection process.
Remember that Russia only got excluded because several countries threatened to withdraw. The EBU did not exclude Russia out of the goodness of their own heart. They did so because the money they would lose by keeping Russia would be greater than the money they would lose by excluding Russia.
Heavily criticise the song Israel send if they get to that point. They’ve already mentioned they want their song to “tell their story” meaning the song will likely be political propaganda. In 2021 Belarus got a 4 year ban for sending a political song (they were allowed to change the song but send an even more political one). In 2009 (when the contest was hosted in Russia) Georgia got slapped with “political song” with their entry “We Don’t Wanna Put In” (geddit) an were told to change it. They withdrew rather than change it.
Also do not stream or support Luxembourg’s song either. The singer is also a Zionist and the song is about her brother in the IDF.
Anyway, stream Casa Mia by Ghali and Onda Alta by Dargen D’Amico, who both spoke out during Sanremo and both got in trouble for it.

For Finland, Windows95Man has confirmed he (and his co-singer Henri Piispanen) will be attending Eurovision (as opposed to withdrawing and possibly being replaced by someone who is apathetic to the situation) stating:
“We think that the only correct decision for the EBU would be to exclude Israel from the competition. However, we do not feel that withdrawing ourselves would make an impact. Instead, we have started discussions with other representatives on how to explore strategies for leveraging our collective influence and use our position to apply pressure on the decision-makers at EBU. The decision was difficult, but now it has been made. We thank everyone for the support we have received. From now on, we will focus on the music and building the show.”

Btdubs, since my last drawing featured just me, Elaine and Althea, this is the first time I have fully draw the entire Gurlfriendz group, (From my knowledge of who's in it) and subsequently, the first time I ever drew Jam. Yet this is what I do to her.
I swear, my artstyle typically isn't this sloppy. But wanting to draw in between school AND post once in a blue moon, sacrifices have to made sometimes.
