I was born and raised in America but have Canadian citizenship through my father. I just started attending school in Toronto this year. Am I eligible to vote?
Absolutely! Canadian citizens can vote as long as they will be 18 or older on October 19 (Election Day).
Here’s where you register to vote (do it before October 13, 6 pm):
Here’s the list of acceptable IDs (read CLOSELY):

Thank you so much for your question!
Which of the parties do you think would best benefit the LGBTA+ community??
We do not endorse any parties because we are non-partisan, but of the four federal parties, historically, the Liberal, NDP, and Green parties have had policies that are more accepting of the LGBTQIA community. There are no specifically stated Conservative policies on same-sex marriage, but in their policy declaration, they define marriage as the union between one man and one woman. Justin Trudeau, Elizabeth May, and Tom Mulcair typically march in Pride celebrations, whereas Stephen Harper does not.

Hi I have a question, I've been following the polls fairly closely and am torn between NDP and Green Party. I heard the former was offering a break in tuition or something involving that whilst the latter was abolishing it, can you give me insight?
I think the NDP has not made any explicit post secondary educational commitments, but the provincial NDP governments have proposed some measures, such as Alberta’s NDP freezing tuition for two years. The Green Party, on the other hand, proposes free tuition.
does it cost anything to sign up to vote is there a monetary fee?
There is no cost.
If you have to mail documents to register, then you’ll have to pay the postage fee, but otherwise no.
I had vote vote before for Provincial and federal election. Do I have to sign up to vote for this election?
I believe people who have voted before are registered in the National Register of Electors.
However, to be sure, please check your status through the Online Voter Registration Service, which lets you know if you have already registered, and registers you if you haven’t done so yet.
Online Registration is only possible until October 13, 2015, 6 pm, after which you have to go to actual polling stations to register. It is much more convenient to register online earlier than risk any complications at the polling station.

what does the green party stand for
This is the Green Party’s Platform Summary!
They are definitely focused on running the country in an environmentally sustainable manner, but Elizabeth May, the leader and only elected member of the Green Party has continually emphasized in the last few weeks that they want Canadians to view them as more than a one-issue party.
