i love these tags by @spaceiscoolandsoisbread and would like to take this opportunity to point out that the language shenanigans are absolutely deliberate. not only are the bird’s words directly constructed from copy pasted words of the other (like in the original text), but in the instances where the bird gets to speak, the art style/brushes used change to make them more other-like. which ig is something tumblr has compressed into oblivion, but! the idea was there. here are some closeups to make it easier to spot:
