[PROJECT] - sender is paired with receiver for a class project (feel free to pick a class).

Oh boy. It was just his luck, wasn’t it? To be paired with Mei of all people — arguably one of the most people that intimidated him in Hope’s Peak, up there with Celeste and Junko. Being her partner for a project was definitely going to be… nerve-wracking, to say the least. Unfortunately, the teachers left no room for negotiation on the project, explicitly stating that partners will not be changed no matter what.
And so, here he was, standing in front of his ‘project partner’, probably looking as nervous as he felt. “U-um,” he started, lamely. “So we’re… uh, g-gonna be working together, huh?” Shifting his weight from feet to feet, eyes darting to the side. “Apparently we have to… er, make a show that combines our ultimates? O-or something…”

Really now? That was her thought process, Kazuichi Sōda of all people — a third year Mei was unfamiliar with, having never spoken to previously due to being in separate class years. He was definitely not a senior she ‘admired’, based on rumors she heard from Cho Aera. If anything, Mei hoped to be partnered with someone like Junko or even Maizono. Being his partner for a project was going to be. . . . . interesting, to say the least. Unfortunately, there was no room for discussion on the project, having stated partners cannot be changed, no matter what.
And so, here she was, standing in front of her 'project partner', likely masking any discomfort she felt. " Hm? " She glanced at him, not missing the stutter in his voice. " . . . Isn’t that obvious—? Unless that is . . . you’re hard of hearing? . . . Jeez. " Tearing her eyes away from the brightly colored male ( cruel, she told herself, nice going for a first impression ) she cleared her throat, looking down at her hands and fidgeting with her fingers, before looking back up at him. "I guess so. . . ! Um.. isn’t that silly?" Mei paused, thinking of what she could say to lighten the mood. " You’re.. a mechanic right? and I’m a model, so this should be interesting..! "
