My insights on The First Slam Dunk:

1. Miyagi.

1. 1 The arc of his relationship with Mitsui. I got surprised that him and Mitsui were really related before they got into the fight.

1.2 He went to America?!

I was really clueless there really. It wasn't mentioned in manga that he has plans going to America. Only Rukawa. The fat that he challenged Sawakita got me mindblown!

1.3 The previous scenes were mentioned in the manga "piercing". I wasn't really surprised since I already read it.

2. The backstories

The backstories of Akagi, Mitsui, and Sakuragi were justified.

3. The inaccuracies.

3.1 Haruko

It was when Haruko asked Sakuragi if he likes basketball (the first encounter of all). Her hair was short on the film but on the anime it was long.

4. Animation

Inoue did a really great job. I really felt the tension between Shohoku and Sannoh unlike on manga.

5. Mitsui

Im sorry, his visuals were well served. I'm crying.

My thoughts as I watch this trailer for the first time:

1. We could get a glimpse on their playing basketball for the first time

2. Side stories for Hisashi, Ryota (piercing manga), Kaede, and Takenori as they play in some match.

3. I am not sure if that would be inter high (less likely), or wintercup tournament.

4. This will be sold out all over the countries especially south america and southeast asia.

What are you collecting these days?

This seems like as good a time as any to start collecting arbitrarily specific stuff, simply for the joy of it. Once upon a time, it was stamps or coins in big, heavy books. These days, it’s Furbies or rocks in zeroes and ones on our screens. We all collect the less tangible—memories, failures, (friend)ships, memes. There’s a ton of collections we love on Tumblr: there are dreams turned into merch ideas, text memes from D&D (click below for a comprehensive analysis of the himbos therein), collections of date-specific memes, an archive of cats on synthesizers in space. And why not? There’s also someone who needs your assistance in their quest for marine biology memes. Can you help them?
