So, I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I’ve just felt weird on this blog, and it kind of got away from me. But, I miss Oda. I miss writing her. I miss what I had planned for her, so rather than just walk away, I’m starting over. I’m going to move her to a new account and I’ll keep my same URL. 

If we had threads or relationships, I’m sorry, but I’m dropping everything and starting over from scratch. It’s just something I need to do to protect my love of this character. 

If you want to continue writing with me, if you want to start fresh, feel free to follow me at the new account, and I’ll post a self promo here for anybody interested once I get the blog set up. 

Thanks to everyone for being so open and welcoming to my little OC, I really enjoyed everything we had, and I look forward to more.

She should not be here in this place so close, and yet so far from home. Her family came to Dale to trade, they came out of an ever lingering draw to return home, but home was gone and far from hope. Still, Oda, against many warnings, against orders by her parents and brother, found herself wandering toward the mountain.

They had come close enough to make camp within sight of the great gates of Durin’s folk, intending to leave again at first light and go west, but while her family slept, Oda crept still closer. 

Why should they accept such a loss? Why should it be that she would never lay eyes on the place her parents remembered so fondly? That her mother wept for? 

The people from Dale said it had been years and years since the dragon had shown face, or even showed signs of life. What if it died within the mountain? What if they could all go home, but never knew because they never did something as simple as check? 

Hmm...

Getting back into tumblr is hard.

I checked @zabduna and I checked @ogmik and I don’t owe anything on either one of those blogs. 

I’m kinda wondering if I shouldn’t just start Oda over clean slate? I miss writing her so much, but I can’t seem to find the motivation to push her back to life. :\
