It seems to be just a collab and aired on TV for those few minutes. As of right now there is no official announcement of anything new for 2020 so we just have to wait for the time being. We can still hope though! Knb is still going strong!!!

Today on 27Jikan Terebi, an original manga was broadcasted as a collab between “Kuroko no Basuke” and NBA player Watanabe Yuta.  It depicts a scene in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the men's basketball finals between Japan and America. Japan is struggling that even Kagami is being stopped, but Kuroko manages to steal the ball and passes the ball towards the basket. (I’m saying pass because it doesn’t look like his Phantom Shot so I’m assuming he’s not trying to shoot) Watanabe follows up and dunks the ball to wrap up an alley loop.

OMG I’m alive what. 

I know I decided to translate this a long time ago, but work and life have been keeping me from taking the time to do it. But finally it’s done! I know there are already romaji lyrics out there but I just included them to make it easier to distinguish who’s singing which part. 

Disclaimer: I do not own Kuroko no Basuke in any way. All work rights and song rights belong to Fujimaki Tadatoshi and Lantis.

Notes: -I’ve included two versions of the English translation: one with singing parts and one that’s just a straightforward translation.  -Singing parts are distinguished by their jersey numbers -The CD did not officially indicate who sings what, so the singing parts are all based on my hearing after blasting the song in my headphones a million times.  -Feel free to use my translation but please credit.
