This joke isn’t about shaming that type of woman. This joke is not about that. Whatever kind of woman you are, you’re quiet, you’re fat, you’re small, you’re big, you’re tall, you’re loud, you don’t know much, you got a gill, whatever kind of woman you are… you are right. That’s it. Whatever you’ve chosen to be, whatever you wanna be, you are correct in being that as long as you are happy. My point to you is, if you are the shy type, if you are the wallflower, if you are the shrinking violet, if you are another… floral metaphor that has to do with being an introvert, my point to you is that you don’t want the guy who wants you because of that energy. A man who wants a woman because she looks scared… is a sexual predator. Okay? All these girls that he could hit on, he picks the one that’s like, shivering like a wet chihuahua. Like a nervous street urchin just in a corner putting out all kinds of “no” vibes. You don’t want the guy that walks up and is like “Excuse me. I couldn’t help but notice you looked terrified. Wanna see my dick?”

“Lesbian. Lesbian. Lesbian. Say it with me. On January 23rd, when Rachel Morrison and Dee Rees made headlines, the headlines (as usual) largely omitted the word lesbian. And although the bodies of those articles let us know that Rachel Morrison had just become the first woman to ever be nominated for an Oscar for cinematography, and Dee Rees had just made history as as the first black woman to be nominated for an Oscar for an adapted screenplay, the fact that they’re both lesbians was strategically obscured. In fact, I had to become a bit of a detective to find out. And, not surprisingly, even most major “LGBTQ” publications avoided the word lesbian in their headlines, opting for things like “LGBTQ people” and “Queer Women” instead. In fact, an article put out by one of the biggest “LGBTQ” publications has such a strong aversion to the word lesbian that they write “Dee Rees, a queer woman of color…” and “Rachel Morrison, who is also part of the LGBT community…” to avoid using the word lesbian. In that same article, the word lesbian only appears twice (much further down in the script), but not in reference to either woman, and “queer women” is used to substitute “lesbian” 13 times. Yes, that’s right, 13 times. And they also substituted “lesbian” with “women in love”and “gay and bi women” and “love affair between women” and “female lover” and “presentation of desire between women”… Anything to avoid the L word. They treat the word lesbian like it’s the plague.”

I love that she is self-possessed and in control of her own destiny. She’s powerful, she’s nuanced. ” As for her future in the DC Cinematic Universe, the actress said she’s excited for the opportunity to possibly star alongside Wonder Woman and more female heroes from the comic canon. “There’s so much room for all of the badass, kickass, never-before-seen and undiscovered… We’re just talking about two superheroes that happen to be women, that means there’s so much room for so many more characters,” she noted. “There’s definitely a demand for it. So we just need to keep yelling for it.” (x)

uhh,, I cannot believe they took two characters that had such romantic, sexual energy.., that most of EVERYONE could see it, but then Uhm, despite it all, decided to pair them both up with men that they had like absolute zéro (0) chemistry with all for the sake of no homo. I’ll take forced heterosexuality for 800. What is a supercorp ? 😒
