The moment I realized I relate to Scotty so much

2017 has been an unforgettable year for the kpop world, filled with both groundbreaking and tragic events. But I think that those kinds of events are what bring people together, so while I’ve cried a lot this year, I’ve also laughed and loved a lot and became closer with people. More specifically for Seventeen, they too have grown a lot. They’ve become a group that people look up to as sunbaes, and every time I see a group cover a Seventeen song, I get this sense of pride and gratitude that their hard work paid off, and they’re getting the recognition they deserve. Winning first place on music shows and getting awards isn’t a far-away dream anymore; it’s a reality, and one that we as fans have to work for, but it isn’t something that’s unexpected or completely surprising anymore. And I think that says a lot about their growth as artists. The fandom continues to grow, and their music and choreography continues to touch the hearts of people all over the world. You’ve worked hard this year and you did well, Seventeen. Thank you.
