Undiscovered Gems: An Original Work Zine

At the close of last year I participated in the @undiscoveredgemszine! This was a drawing I wanted to do for about a year prior, after spending a night on the edge of the outback during my semester abroad in Australia. It features a couple of my original characters from a world I’ve been working on since sometime in high school, so maybe if I’m feeling motivated you’ll get to see more of them later. c;

This is a concept art of sorts for Facility Zed, a podcast I’m excited to be a part of, and is created/directed by @novazap!

The Hand of God, @undiscoveredgemszine Being a part of this zine was a wonderful experience! I was impressed with the variety and quality of the artwork that I saw in the zine, and I hope everyone who worked on it was as happy as I was!

Here’s my piece for @undiscoveredgemszine which is an excellent zine dedicated to shining some light on otherwise unknown artists from all the world over! It’s a huge zine and is full of a lot of great works!!

My piece was a test cover for my very much still in the works web-comic, Selene & the Pieces of Eight (formerly Selene the Pirate Queen). A classic tale about a quest to become the finest pirate these seas have ever seen while unraveling the truth of their sham of a society! What’s not to love?

I’m super, super excited that I can finally post this!!!!!! A couple of months back I was lucky enough to join the @undiscoveredgemszine as a contributor and now I can finally post my piece since the zine is now officially available to the public!!

Since the theme of the zine was basically a free-for-all I decided to draw my local angsty eldritch horror boy, Renzo dealing with some of Poincare’s less-than-savory residents.
