Now what would happen if a homeless quilt was made by someone who actually cared about homeless people?
Meet former ad designer Willie Baronet.
Baronet is an artist who talks to homeless people and buys their signs from them for $20 a pop, if they’re willing to sell. He uses the signs in art exhibits to educate the privileged and point them to ways they can help, and to humanize homeless people and tell them they matter.
One sign at a time, Baronet makes a statement to help people with $20 in their hand and a voice that rings across the nation saying “I’m here.” (source)
So not only did they take the small, hand-made signs away from homeless people but instead of just tossing them, they kept them. Not only did they keep them as some kind of homeless trophy, they actually went through the time, energy, and effort (funded by tax dollars) to tape them together, pose for a picture, and post it during the holiday season.
This is why people say that there are no good cops. Because there aren’t.

i know that this might look cute and all, but its really not. this is called “head pressing“ and its symptom of serious brain issues such as brain tumors, brain damage, various disease that affect on brain etc. if you ever see cat doing this, it should be taken to a vet asap
this is not head pressing. head pressing is when a cat stands headfirst typically against a corner or wall without moving for extended periods of time. what’s pictured here is a completely normal cat behavior that shouldn’t cause any concern.
people who are overperformative about their wokeness or a tragedy online are always like “if you can reblog everything but this im blocking you” or something along those lines bc they dont have the self awareness to realize that not everyone comes on tumblr to fucking mourn let alone get their news from like they do…lol
“why is no one talking about this” there are other platforms like…substantial ones other than tumblr.edu where you can get information and i hate to break it to you but you really are not more of a morally conscious person for sprinkling in a few current events posts on your blog scream
