OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD WRITE YELENA AS LIKE NATASHA’S WINGMAN! TO HELP HER ASK READER OUT! 😍

Or like the little sibling that likes to embarrass the older sibling in front of their crush/significant other!!🤣

A/N: I love this idea sm thank you!

"Should I tell her about your fighting pose? She probably knows already actually. Or what about the way you can never get food to stay on your fork? Or-"

"Shut up," Natasha grumbled, her eyes flicking in the direction of the corner of the room where you were standing with a drink. She found you... well, she found you to be exquisite, and she had no other word for it. You were elegant, kind, goofy when you were comfortable, and everything she seemed to find attractive in a personality- not to mention beautiful.

The feeling is mutual

Requested by anonymous: “Reader has the powers of invisibility, and sometimes when she’s embarrassed/flustered she can’t control her powers, so she goes invisible. Maria is always all business, until the avengers invite her and R to one of their parties. Maria flirts with reader until she goes invisible and then they eventually end up confessing their feelings for one another.”

pairing: Maria Hill x fem!reader

Words: 1k

A/N - A little late but happy new year!! This is me starting my ‘fanfic dump’ where I post stories from 2019 that just never saw the light of day for whatever reason. It means I get to start with a clean slate in 2020. I do not promise that any of them are actual good.

Since the day you discovered them, you’ve always had trouble controlling your powers. It had started when you were little and you bumped into Cody McKellen at lunchtime. The food on the tray went everywhere including all over her. You had frozen completely, heat rushing to your cheeks in sheer embarrassment but everyone else insisted you had runoff. The lunch lady made you apologise when you finally reappeared. Since then every time you got nervous or embarrassed you would just disappear in order to hide your shame. Once S.H.I.E.L.D got wind of your abilities you were forced to join their academy despite countless protesting. You weren’t the best field agent but your ability gave you an advantage many others didn’t have; you were exceptional at being sneaky. That was probably the only part you didn’t struggle with.

myc can i please request some cute fluff about how yelena pinned and tried to impress r like mentioned in colors/chosen? 😩

Impress

Requested by Anon: can we please have a drabble of being trained by yelena i read the ones you did of maria and they’re so cute

Word Count: 613

A/N: Ngl for the request i literally reread my fics (which i never do) and oh my god you guys pay attention to what i write

"Room for one more?" You asked, grinning as you waltzed into the training room, where your two favorite Russian assassins were training. Their conversation interrupted as you walked over to them, both of them staring at you. Natasha gave her sister a look you couldn't identify, a little threatening, a little warning.

"In a bit," Natasha said, glancing towards you before looking back at her sister. Yelena glared at her, sweat beading on her forehead before she wiped it away. Glancing between both of them, you looked at the blonde for an explanation.

"Nat is acting more annoying than usual," Yelena stated, causing her sister to throw a water bottle at her. She dodged it, catching it with one hand and placing it near the rink, chuckling to herself. She avoided your look entirely, not wanting to explain the conversation they were having.

You'd only heard tiny bits from their talking, something about hiding away and needing to tell someone about their feelings. You wanted to ignore it, but you'd heard your name in the mix, you wanted to hope it was because your feelings for Yelena weren't as one-sided as you thought they were, but it was just your imagination.

You sat near the edge of the rink, your legs crossed as you waited for them to start. A simple nod from Natasha was all she needed to start attacking her. The match started normally, but something was slightly different. Yelena's attacks were more aggressive than usual, wanting to hurt Natasha than just train.

Confusion filled your features as you saw her almost hit her, quickly wrapping the redhead in a headlock after. Natasha could've broken out of it if she wanted to, not struggling as much as she normally did. Instead, she tapped out, smirking as she conceded defeat to her sister.

A smirk isn't usually the reaction after she gets beaten by anyone, nor is the subtle wink she sent Yelena before sauntering off. You shook off her reaction, still more than impressed by the match. Rarely had anyone even held their own against Natasha, let alone defeat her.

"I'm not gonna lie," You began, getting up and taking your place in front of Yelena. The blonde raised an eyebrow, waiting for what you had to say next, her gaze flitting over to her sister.

"That was impressive."

A smile quickly took over Yelena's face, a blush coating her cheeks. You heard Natasha giggle a little from the corner of the room before shouting something in Russian to her sister. Whatever it was, it angered the blonde as she quickly took off in chase of her, leaving you in the gym.

Though, you didn't stay there for long, quickly chasing after them, demanding to know what was going on. A part of you knew they would never tell you; Yelena had no plans to. She would never tell you that she'd planned to try to impress you; the fact that it had worked flustered her more than she'd imagined.

A grin covered her face for the rest of the day, only getting brighter when you finally found her. She refused to tell you what Natasha had said, keeping those words to herself. You couldn't bring yourself to be angry at her for it, not when she jumped at every opportunity to try to impress you just to get you to look her way.

Her grin only got brighter when you'd rewarded her efforts with a date. A date she couldn't help but be overexcited for, happily telling Natasha about it, acting like a small child. She couldn't help it, too happy that she plans to impress you had finally worked

A/N: Tell me what you think!! and what Nat shouted is up to your imagination

here i go writing soft angst at three in the morning bc i cannot sleep and i’m a hot mess. pls don’t yell at me to get more sleep aldslkjfldskj i love y’all x

“Why aren’t you asleep?”

Wanda turned her head and saw you standing in the doorway, arms crossed over your chest and an unapproving frown on your face. This wasn’t the first time you caught her staying up later than the rest of the team, and she always had an excuse that you didn’t believe. You wondered what she was going to tell you this time.

The chill of the air bit your cheeks as you stepped out and sat next to Wanda, but you didn’t plan on leaving until she agreed to go with you. You tugged the blanket tighter around your shoulders and sucked it up.

“I had a terrible thought today,” she replied.

“And what was that?”

“What if I am doomed to lose the people I love the most? I lost my parents and Pietro. We lost Nat and Tony. I feel like I’ve lost myself a little bit, too.”

She took your hand, giving it a little squeeze the second your fingers linked. She always loved how cold your hands were - as odd as that sounded. On days when she didn’t feel the best, you’d rub your cool fingers along her bare back, and she’d feel better instantly. Shivers and all.

“Have I lost you too?” She croaked, refusing to look up at you.

In the midst of her grief, she felt she couldn’t be a good girlfriend. She broke up with you and cut all contact because she thought that’s what was best for her, but she never thought about you. Your grief. Your love. For that moment, Wanda had been entirely selfish, and she thought that was okay until she finally saw you after all that time.

You rubbed your hand up and down her arm, letting out a small sigh through your nose. No matter how many days passed since your break up, you could never stop loving her. She believed she was doomed to lose the people she loved, and you were certain you were doomed to always love the people who left you. But you were going to change.

“No, you haven’t lost me.”

She believed she was doomed to lose the people she loved, and you were certain you were doomed to always love the people who left you.

that was rather rude of you! THE ANGST IN THAT ONE LINE!

i would apologize but it’s just too much fun to see yall react like this 😘

u see that hc (usually in au’s) where steve is always terrified for nat and bucky to meet because they would be a terrifying duo…. nat feels the same way about steve meeting yelena because they have the same chaotic good vibes

the real reason yelena wasn’t in wakanda fighting the thanos army is bc nat declined her call in an attempt to keep yelena “my vest has pockets!!!!!//this is a cool way to die” belova from meeting steve “I hide high security information behind bubble gum//no I don’t need a parachute <3” rogers

Transgender Day of Visibility.

Comic text:

How to do better at getting new pronouns right. No more “oh I’m trying but it’s just really hard.”

1. When you slip up, correct yourself briefly and move on.

Speech bubble text: When I first met Lily she was- I mean Aiden, he was literally doing a handstand on a skateboard.

2. When someone corrects you, say “thank you” and just move on swiftly

Person 1: I hadn’t even finished yet and he had already-

Person 2: They.

Person 1: Right, thanks! They had already gotten 8 ready?!

3. Get into the habit of interrupting people with a quick correction. Yes, every time. It sets a good precedent, it takes some of the burden off trans people, and makes it easier to catch yourself.

Person 1: What is she doing? That looks-

Person 2: He.

Person 1: Oh yeah. Whatever’s he’s doing looks weird.

4. For every time you get it wrong, do it right 3 times, like saying 3 compliments (it doesn’t have to be out loud)

Thought bubble text: I should go pick up Jax- Oh shoot! Jax. Their name is Jax; they have been exceptionally patient with me today; and they are wearing lovely earrings.

5. Consider meeting with someone to practice. Go for coffee with a mutual friend and correct each other until you get it.

Person 1: So her pronouns are they/them- Wait their pronouns-

Person 2: We really have to practice, so we can get this right for them.

Person 1: Totally!

6. Don’t make anyone feel like a burden for having pronouns you’re struggling with. Do not say “oh it’s just really hard.”

Speech bubble text: Thank you for sharing your authentic self with me, I’m learning and I really appreciate it. [heart emoji]

7. Don’t make them alleviate your guilt. If you get it wrong do not apologize profusely, because that puts the other person in the position of having to say it’s ok, and putting their own feelings aside to make you feel better/stop apologizing.

Express your love and learn.
