all very much a work in progress but I’ve really gotten into decorating my Yavin stronghold this past week, here are some of my favourite bits so far

got another slightly niche achievement the other day

This is a different one from the straight up killing makrin achievement, you need to make some of these grenades below (there are various versions) using cybertech, or buy them of course, and make sure your makrin are on fire when you kill them. They have a horribly long cooldown so you have to wait it out a bit.

The place I recommend is Frinn Mesa, this is a great place generally for creature kills here so I worked on vrake as well and finished off my ginx (for tonitran/coppi, go to the Sanctuary). Stick on a rampage boost as well. Sometimes it’s a hassle to get the timing right.

In theory for my healer I now just need two pieces and a hell of a lot of upgrades...time to get forcing drops next nimfra day.

Oh so prog update:

After another reshuffle I am now healing, which I enjoy, just a bit nervous because although I've healed all the legacy hms, I've only dps-ed on the 'hardmares'. But then again, even my dps experience is limited, and nobody has experience until they do it so yeah. Fear of the unknown is always a big thing with me though, it held me back from doing any ops and especially hm ops for a long time.

Healing went well I think, I kept up with our other healer and didn't make too many mistakes, they were mostly just brainfades/lack of experience when they came I think. We got through to huntmaster and just had a couple pulls, so it's off to fight the desync boss on saturday 😩✌. Need to revise it a bit I think because honestly never a clue what's happening. Looking forward to the chance to do apex when it comes, too.

I am also progging spreadsheets, so I do now finally know what my goals are with gearing...it's just figuring out how to get there. Thursday is nimfra day, but as I'm after specific pieces to meet my plan I'm not sure if I should have faith in the rng gods or force pieces instead and cry over not having enough ops currency to upgrade.

raiding is very daunting to get into for the first time but is also very very fun, so if you're on darth malgus and you've ever wanted to try ops but not known where to start...come say hi! it's not as scary as you think, honest 🥺
