It's so bad, that the github page for it's own algorithm is flooded with spam links for "cracked software", which I don't doubt them being scams linked with trojans. And that they're not doing anything and I don't know if they intend on doing anything about it
How would I even know about it in the first place? I had subscribed to the github page when it first became "open source" just to see what happened. I of course forgot to unsub when it slowed down but up until recently my emails involving them were fine, with the occasional post. Now they have been flooded with nothing but these spammy issues posts by users of these strange cracked software links. It's so bad that it goes into the promoted tab as well as the normal inbox. I'd unsub from this github page, but I find this development more interesting--like how long will it be before they actually do something about it? Knowing who's in charge (really) I have no doubts that whoever was supposed to moderate it has been kicked off the team so that Melon can cut costs. And so it remains that until the emperor with no clothes decides to put on his big boy pants and actually do what needs to be done, he's wasted over $44 billion, both because it was supposed to be a "joke" and because of his fervent desire to boost his ego.
