We’re delighted to announce that the Equivalent Exchange Anthology was able to donate a total of $4,224.69 to the Organization for Transformative Works, the parent organization of the Archive of Our Own (AO3)!

This includes all proceeds from our after-sales, as well as donations from some of our amazing contributors who chose to give some or all of their payment allocation. We all made this happen together! 💛❤️🖤

For legal reasons: we are not affiliated with the OTW or AO3 – we just appreciate all of their incredible efforts to keep fandom vibrantly alive, and wanted to give back! You can learn more about the OTW here.

For transparency: all contributors to the Anthology were equally compensated, with the option to donate part or all of their allocation, or exchange it for a zine bundle. None of the moderators, including those who contributed fanworks, received any compensation.

Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood/Manga) Rating: Teen+ Characters/Pairing(s): Zolf Kimblee/Edward Elric Summary: You know what I think?” Ed asks, then doesn’t wait for an answer. “I think the whole concept of ‘State Alchemists’ is shit, and we should get rid of it.”

“Surely you must be joking,” Zolf says, to make Ed prove how serious he is.

The time for recertification has come, and after everything they’ve been through, Ed does not have anything nice to say about it. He’s seen Kimblee lost to madness once, and he’s not keen to repeat history.

AKA: Ed proposes they dismantle the government - again. Notes/Warnings: Being a part of the @equivalentexchangeanthology meant so much to me. Being able to write a rarepair ship that I love for such a massive, celebratory project gives me feelings I can’t even put words to. I have so much gratitude for all the mods and contributors - we truly made something special.

As for this piece, what can I say? I love ZolfEd, and exploring them in a post-series light is something I never get tired of. It’s intentionally styled to be an open-ended oneshot so in case I want to revisit them in this setting, I can easily do so. I truly hope you enjoy - this ship is forever lodged in my heart for a multitude of reasons. Much love to my wife for always supporting my writing, especially when it comes to our favorite dumb boys.

Title: In Memoriam

Pairings: Greed/Ed

Rating: T

Summary: The place felt like one of those ghost towns Ed often heard stories about only, this time, these were Greed’s ghosts instead of nameless unknowns. Demons of the past that lurked inside, waiting to prey on Greed's memories.

Tags: Post canon, Established Relationship, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Created for the Equivalent Exchange Anthology

Notes: A slightly extended version of my Project 2 contribution to the EE Anthology zine (this version is different than the one included in the Equivalent Exchange Anthology). I had so much fun with this event and am grateful for the opportunity to add some Greed/Ed into the zine! ♥
