Why is everything about The Predator with you suddenly? What about the Phoenix rises or firebird or albatross? Have you forgotten them or is the popularity of predator getting to your head? You've been back more than a week and all you posted is a predator chapter. I'm just so fed up.

You could’ve asked me the same thing in a better tone and I’d have replied nicely, anon. But since you didn’t,

(The only reason I’m even giving this space on my blog is because I’ve had multiple asks of the same nature, which may or may not have been you anon, and so I’m going to lay some things out very clearly).

I’m happy that so passionate about my stories. But you know what, anon? So am I, much more than you can imagine. Each and every story I write and characters I create, you cannot even fathom the level of love and passion I have for them. And I think most of the readers can feel that.

Why I chose to update The Predator first was simple - I took a poll on Twitter because I was very confused and this story won fair and square. Which fic I will update next, I don’t know and neither do you, not until I have a schedule (which for some personal reasons I haven’t been able to commit to).

It could be The Predator again, or something else. I’m just really grateful for the remarkable patience of most readers. Really, truly, deep-in-my-bones grateful. 

What I’m not grateful for, however, is you comparing my love for my stories. You don’t have the right to do that, anon, no matter how attached you are to them. You only get to choose which ones you like better or which you don’t but not for me. But you don’t get to come to me and tell me what’s ‘getting to my head’

or my lack of updates (for whatever personal reasons) is making you ‘fed up’.

You could’ve done the one hundred other things people have been doing - expressed sadness, excitement, impatience even. You could have just come and told me to hurry up and write something, which while is not okay but it’s completely understandable and I wouldn’t have minded. But this is nothing but rude and me?
