“Don’t fucking touch me! He’s dead, Jennifer!! He’s dead, and it’s your fucking fault!!” Derek yelled out at JJ after she tried to console him after the team watched Spencer have a seizure and not get back up.
"Morgan, please. You-" JJ started but Morgan wasn't hearing it.
"No! I don't want to hear shit from you, any of you!" Derek yelled out at the room of agents before leaving, hitting his fist against the door on his way out.
Derek didn't stop walking until he was outside of that damned house and walking to the cornfield where Spencer was taken. He went all the way out to where they found drag marks and just stared at the ground.
That is where Spencer was kidnapped, stolen from him, robbed of the rest of his young life.
Derek got down on the ground and felt the dirt between his fingers, hoping, praying, that a member of his team would come find him and tell him that Spencer woke back up. That he was alive and well and that they still had a chance to save him.
But no one came.
