LOVE MACHINES 4 ARRIVES ON COMIXOLOGY

Los Angeles, CA - Thursday May 18th, 2015 - May 20th marks the Comixology release of the fourth issue of Love Machines, Josh Trujillo’s acclaimed comic series about our love affair with technology.

Love Machines 4 collects two original stories, "Hero and Leander," and "Sandy Andy." "Hero and Leander" with artist Kate Glasheen,  explores a "first date" between two supercomputers, and a curmudgeon professor skeptical of the hype surrounding the event. Questioning the nature of artificial intelligence with humor, this tale was inspired by the real-life experiments of Dr. Joseph Weizenbaum, one of the godfathers of modern A.I..

"Sandy Andy" is about a young boy searching for answers -- and romance, in an abandoned fairground. This story celebrates the centennial anniversary of its' setting, San Francisco's legendary Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Bay Area-illustrator Colin Andersen lends his distinctive inking style to the short. In addition, this issue featured an original cover by artist Kevin Jay Stanton.
