“Oh please, playing dirty is my favourite thing.” He countered back with a wink at her, “I can do either, honestly.” Logan laughed shrugging a little, “I’m not against them, I don’t know I just feel like I’m harder on my feet then I am on my hands, like they deserve a bit of care sometimes, my hands are just there, like they get washed and shit, it’s fine.”

“Why does that not surprise me?” Kodi tilted her head; she was always up for a challenge. “‘They get washed and shit’?” she repeated, her tone unimpressed. “God, I’m glad I don’t have your hands touching me. Why are boys so gross about hygiene?”

“Well in animal’s eyes we are the weird ones. Because we walk around and think that we own everything” he shrugged. “Everyone is entitled to their opinions and if someone thinks hedgehogs are cute, who the fuck are you to burst their bubble? I had to learn that the hard way”

“Do animals even think like that?” she argued. “I didn’t say she wasn’t allowed to think hedgehogs are cute, I just don’t want her bringing one on the plane right next to me as if it’s the most normal thing in the world. I really don’t think that’s too much to ask.”

Nodding in agreement, Jody then shook her head at the other’s next question. “I don’t think it is. I’ve only seen guide dogs as well, but hardly ever, now that I think about it.”

“Maybe guide dogs don’t like traveling a lot, or their owners don’t,” she supposed. “They’re so cute, though. Like the pictures of the puppies in their learners vests? That’s fucking adorable.”

“Yeah exactly. Wild animals should stay in the wild. Because they get really unhappy when they are stuck in one location for too long” he said and sighed, shaking his head.

“Really? But what about like, when they mark their territory? Doesn’t that mean they have favorite places? I didn’t think they moved that much, except for like, birds, I guess.”

“I think there’s twenty out right now. I’ve finished the first phase movies so I’ve done six. Only fourteen to go.” Trinity told the girl with a shrug. “Neither do I.” She agreed, grimacing. “My apartment doesn’t let me have dogs. I’m trying to save up to move, but I’ve got my college tuition to finish paying for first. I’d probably get a little one, though. It would look very strange with someone as short as me walking a massive dog.”

“That still sounds like a lot. Don’t you get bored?” Kodi definitely would: she was guilty of checking her phone during films, even when she liked them. “Well that’s shit. Can’t you like, just get one anyway?” she said, as if it really were that simple. “You totally could if you wanted to. What does it matter if you’re short? Your massive dog could defend you from anyone who thinks you look weird with it.”

“Are flamingos really that weird, though? Apart from the fact they’re bright pink.” Joey shrugged. “Lion cubs are adorable. The new Lion King remake they’re bringing out next year is going to kill me,” he laughed, shaking his head in amusement. “Instagram is definitely the best social media platform. I like Twitter sometimes, but it’s too negative on there.”

“They’re totally weirder than cows, at least,” Kodi said. “Oh my god, right?! I’m so ready for Beyonce, who doesn’t love her?” she agreed. “Twitter is where people go to post their dumbass opinions. At least on Instagram you look cute doing it.”

“That is kinda my thing” he said and shrugged. “I don’t really live somewhere where you can see hedgehogs every single day. So my answer is no. But from the pictures I have seen, they look rather cute”

“I can tell,” she agreed dryly. “I don’t think most people do. They’re cute from a distance. I really didn’t need to see one up close -- at least not on a plane.”

“I have always been someone who writes but I never share it with people. So this is a first for me and it paid off. My book became the best seller for around six weeks which is wild when you think about it” she said and nodded. “I personally would never own a hedgehog. I just don’t understand the purpose”

“So what made you change your mind about sharing this time?” she asked curiously. “Congrats, though, that’s amazing,” she added with a smile. “Exactly! At least, like, a dog makes sense. Even a fish does, for aesthetics. But a hedgehog? No thanks.”

“A bit of healthy competition never hurt anybody.” He pointed back out to her, “and I’m patient, I don’t need to rush me winning or whatever.” He smirked back at her. “Err- no. I don’t plan to either.”

“That’s only if you play fair,” Kodi countered, smirking at him meaningfully. It wasn’t a secret that she could be a bit, well, underhanded in getting what she wanted. “Aww, come on. If you can embrace pedicures, I don’t see why manicures should be any different. People see your hands more than your feet, anyway.”

“Some of them do, I think. A lot of people take their little dogs with them when they travel so, maybe? Although, it’s probably not best to move them around a lot. They like to take time to get to know their surroundings.” Daxton shrugged, unsure if any of what he just said was true. “Who’s Vesta?” He asked, tilting his head slightly. “I mean, it’s not a mansion but it’s enough for me and another person, so, it’s pretty nice. You wanna see?” He offered. “Nope, can’t say that I have.”

“I guess it depends on the dog. Like you know how cats hate swimming, but then there’s that one on Instagram that loves it? I guess they’re all different,” she shrugged, staring at him blankly at his question. “My horse,” she answered obviously, as if it were something everyone should already know. “I’d love to see it,” she smiled back at him. “You should totally come watch sometime. It’s fun.”

“Nah, if anything I’m a little flattered by it.” He laughed lightly mirroring her look at him back to her. “Maybe, I’ve been told that before. But, I tend to win most of the time.” He smirked at her. “I shall, I know it’s true.”

“Aww, how cute,” she replied in a sugary tone. “I hope you’re not expecting to always win with me. I’m really competitive, y’know,” she reminded him. “Have you tried a manicure too? I love those.”

Shaking her head in agreement, Jody let out a heavy sigh. “I’d demand to move planes.” She responded, letting out a dry laugh. “There’s no way I’d let a snake ruin my plane journey.”

“Moving planes is an even better idea,” Kodi realized, a little disappointed she hadn’t come up with it herself. She always did have a flair for dramatics. “It can’t be a common thing, right? Like, this is the first time I’ve seen something like that on board, except for guide dogs, but they don’t count. Otherwise we’ll have planes turning into zoos.”

“I’m kind of a nerd; I really love reading and movies and that stuff. Currently I’m in the midst of watching all the Marvel Universe movies.” Trinity told her, then nodding to her question. “I think so. They look like they’d bite, anyway.” She sighed. “I don’t. I’m so tempted to get one, though. I would love a dog.”

“All of them? Aren’t there, like, heaps of those?” Kodi wrinkled her nose in thought; she had never much gotten into those. “I don’t know, but I really don’t want to find out,” she agreed. “So get one. What kind do you want? I like little ones, like miniature poodles -- they’re adorable.”

“Cows are a weird animal in general, I think that’s why I like them.” Joey told her. “I don’t remember exactly, but I assume that’s how it started, yeah,” he nodded. “I really liked lions for a while after I first went to the zoo, but then it was all about cows.” The man chuckled. “Probably not. I haven’t checked it since, like, 2009.”

“If you’re gonna pick a weird animal, why not go something weirder? Like, a flamingo, or something,” she suggested. “See, lions make more sense as a favorite. I like them, their babies are so cute.” She agreed, “I think that’s the last time anyone checked it. We’re all about Instagram now.”
