not to step back into internet disk horse at my big age but the whole watcher thing feels like such a fucking trainwreck bc a.) we just watched roosterteeth crash and burn b.) comparing them to dropout feels so disingenuous for a lot of reasons (partially how well established that platform is by comparison and their larger cast/variety of shows) and c.) this is such a drastic pivot. even RTs membership used to be for early release/ad free and not just everything behind the paywall. i totally get people who are gonna sub to this, i happily pay for dropout and will continue to. it just feels incredibly tone deaf given their history, audience, and just (gestures aimlessly) everything else happening rn

#also i watched that video on x2 speed i claim no expertise im just annoyed tbh.#i care way less about these men than mac but i sure was along for the ride
