Small posts like “sit by the window at dawn it’ll make you happy” and “listen to your favorite music while you work on things, it’ll make the time pass” get so much hate and comments like “we’re not all neurotypical brenda!1!1!” because people almost WANT to be sad. Little things are really fucking important to help you heal.
Sometimes people just want to share something that helps them and it’s fucked up to shut them down. Mentally ill tumblr makes negativity and being upset popular and cool and shit. Like making jokes about how you constantly want to die is not going to help you and yes, I’m guilty of doing this.
Focus on things that make you feel better instead of trapping yourself in a cycle of negativity. It’s only going to make you feel worse.
