Pictures from my last photoshoot with Merrill before I retired the costume - really glad to be able to shoot with @hucknshred as he shot my very first Merrill pictures as well! Felt good, like we were bringing her full circle.

If you're still hungry, we have more dishes coming up! In celebration of the Dungeon Meshi anime, here's the man-eating plant tart we made!

I think fresh-baked is even more similar to how the tart ended up looking in the show! I made it at the end of tomato season so I got to put in the ones I grew myself. Next time I make it, I'll leave out the spinach and put in a tomato variety that stays green when ripe, too. ☺️

CONGRATULATIONS TO RYOKO KUI SENSEI 🎉 and HAPPY DUNGEON MESHI ANIME TO ALL OF US!!! Let's have some hot pot to celebrate! Senshi (@fae2day on twitter) invites you to tuck in!

This is the first of many dishes we recreated during our cosplay cabin weekend! I will be making a little series of them to celebrate the anime. ☺️

If folks are interested, I would be happy to share the recipes I modified for these dishes & the ingredients I substituted for monsters. In these pictures, I made Senshi's costume, fae2day is wearing it, and we all pitched in to help with prep, styling, and cooking.
