IN CONCLUSION, SHIRO IS A NERD AND DRAMATIC AS ALL HELL IN THIS EPISODE AND I LOVE IT
(Shiro doesn’t usually get the chance to goof off or play around, so it’s nice to see him relaxing and trying to have some fun for once, even if he dies two episodes later… *cries*)
shiro is the jock friend who has an unrecognized inner nerd and when it first comes out he can't handle it and ends up acting like a huge dork and I love him,

It doesn’t catch every single one of those huge multi-fandom archival fics, and a few things do slip through the cracks, but I’m at page 20 now and I don’t see any ships.

where did the idea that Keith and Shiro are brothers even come from
oh boy. you are not ready. 'broganes' was kicked off by the popular headcanon that Keith is Asian. in early fandom days, Keith was headcanoned to be Korean like his voice actor. but because Keith's last name in GoLion/the original Voltron was 'Kogane', a Japanese name, some people took the 'gane' at the end of both their last names to mean they were potentially related. (this is weak at best and racist at worst, but I can see why people who don't ship sheith might prefer a brotherly interpretation of their relationship.) then in season 2, Keith said to Shiro 'you're like a brother to me' and not 5 minutes later we saw how similar Shiro's jawline was to that of Keith's father. people who hate sheith have hard-pushed that Keith is Shiro's long-lost literal blood-related brother ever since. people who don't hate sheith but don't ship it have tended towards 'adoptive brothers' headcanons instead.
every time wuffen arts sheith i'm reminded why i ship them so hard. it's like every piece packs all their care and love for one another into a single frame

A Sheith thing I love: the Blazing Sword (aka Voltron's iconic weapon) is formed when Keith and Shiro plug in their bayards. Then they vanquish Zarkon with the power of their love. (Also, an immature part of me loves that Shiro's power is lighting Keith's sword on fire).

Where did you get your muscle suit for shiro or did you make it? It looks really good!

I made the suit from scratch; it’s essentially a stretchy cotton leotard with foam pecs, shoulders, and biceps/triceps sewn onto it. Because it’s a leotard instead of a shirt, I can lift my arms and stuff and the muscles stay flush to my body. to make the muscles I just cut up upholstery foam with scissors, though this is a VERY time-consuming process.
Now that Shiro has a new look that involves short sleeves, I have to remake my muscles suit with something that will give me smoother muscles and is skin-toned so I can airbrush or paint the muscle contours onto my arms. it’s gonna be exciting, haha
