"His wide-as-a-refrigerator body, especially since it's almost always cut off on the bottom by textboxes in-game, made me initially assume he is a fat man. And he should be. He is the human embodiment of a fancy fat kitty cat (in the most positive way; he is immensely sympathetic and beloved by the fandom). Plus he has a whole arc about learning not to punish himself and move on from his traumatic guilt...gaining weight would be a great visual indicator of that."--anon
Mod addition: "I personally think fatness and yo-yoing in weight before settling on a happier and heavier weight post Manfred would help with the narrative, as it shows how Edgeworth had been restricting and trying to obsessively control himself before he had let Phoenix, Larry, Maya, Gumshoe, and the rest of the gang into his life. In addition, I personally think he would be best played by SungWon Cho in a live action adaptation, and SungWon Cho both has the vocal gravitas to voice Edgeworth and kind of has a fairly fitting appearance for Miles, if you think about it."--mod @sunkern-plus
