Let’s Talk MCCC, Systemic Racism, and How People Of Color Are Excluded From Communities

You might have seen some posts today about MCCC’s Discord and how they allow posts from racists or participating in racism, but threathen or ban people for talking about racism and delete their messages. If not, check the post here and the reblog here. I’m here to shed some light on the situation, and showcase different times I’ve seen discussion on racism shut down, and racists go without warning.

(pose credits: x x x x x x x [+ my own]) (read intro [TW for a suicide mention])

Bachelor: Clyde Atkins (he/him), 20 Seeking: Anybody Message: I like long walks across my house and not dying.

It’s (almost) time for another MMBC, folks! (Psst - this project is also called “ProjectMUTUAL”, but that doesn’t mean that only my mutuals can make Sims or even that they have priority. The “mutual” in that title refers to… something else.)

  • This is a Murder Mystery Bachelor Challenge–with a twist, but at its core, it very much is an MMBC. The odds are against your Sim making it out of the BC house alive, and they might even end up with blood on their hands (which is even more of a possibility here than in my previous MMBCs). Don’t sign up if you’re not alright with that.

More rules and guidelines under the cut.

hey guys there’s still 3 2 open spots in my next mmbc!! to the other maybe 20 people on simblr who still play sims 3… 🥺

i realize that 1) bc culture seems to have changed since i was semi-relevant and 2) it’s been a WHILE (three years!!!) since i last opened a bc (with or without murder), so if you have any questions about how i do things feel free to ask!

(also signal boosts are appreciated! i feel like most of my followers either left or stopped playing sims 3 LMAO)

WE OFFICIALLY HAVE ONE SPOT LEFT!!! i’m getting REALLY excited

You don’t think riots solve anything and you don’t think people should destroy their own city because your city NEVER FAILED YOU. Your system never FAILED YOU.

A window is replaceable. A life isn’t. Until someone close to you is a victim of this type of oppression you have no opinion.

The United States was built on the backs of POC and minorities. Do not tell ANYONE how they should react or respond. You do NOT get to do that.

ppl on simblr r like ‘i can’t make a black sim bc i’m not a poc’ then make a mermaid

i must say i’m disappointed with the results of the CAS poll. not only did not a single item i voted for get in, but the items that did win the vote are all boring and bland and way too versatile imo. we could have gotten cute hats (the one with the pride pin hello?? the llama hat?!) and unique fun clothing items but instead we got bland normie pieces that look like stuff we already have. so disappointing.

The Sims 4 Island Living

⦁ Sit Back and Relax

Welcome to Sulani, where the sun shines bright and the nights are totally chill. Set sail on the glistening water in your island canoe, swim to your heart’s content, and explore the scenery on a watercraft. Build a spectacular sand castle, catch some rays, and even meet a mermaid!

⦁ Pitch In or Help Out

Become a conservationist, clean up the beaches, and watch your Sims’ impact bloom all over the island. Take to the waves in a fishing or diving career or become a lifeguard to keep the locals safe under the sun. No career? No problem! Sims can do a few odd jobs or fish for their next meal.

⦁ Engage in Local Culture

Tradition runs deep on Sulani, and your Sims get to experience everything it has to offer. Immerse Sims in their newfound lifestyle by attending a pit barbecue event, learning about local folklore, tasting tropical delicacies, and chatting with ancestors from the island.

⦁ Rock the Island Vibes

Dress Sims in tropical garb inspired by sun, sand, and waves. Or, gear up for water activities like snorkeling and swimming. Decorate a rustic oasis with home objects and unwind at the tiki bar. Everything is chill (except for the occasional sunburn) when it’s Island Living.
