It was a Choice™ by the writers for Tommy to specifically call him Evan. Though they don't work directly together now it is still strange that as another member in the Fire Department he doesn't call Buck by his callsign. Beyond Maddie and his parents, I can't recall another character exclusively using Evan. It's just interesting. Anyone have theories or is it just a Tommy thing?
