Being a Jew in America right now is so bizarre. The president's right hand man endorses a far-right German party that wants to remove Holocaust memorials and ban the sale of kosher meat, members of the ruling party are doing nazi salutes at rallies, and standing members of congress openly repeat conspiracy theories about the Rothschilds and Jewish space lasers. Then you see a news article about antisemitism and it's like "we need to do something about all these college students protesting mass killings."
I get meself all angry reading about politics. I decide I need to calm down and relax with something light and fun, and go look at dnd memes online.
Unfortunately I am in the same mental state as before and it colors my perception. Instead of being justifiably angry about the state of the world, I'm now very unreasonably angry about other peoples' opinions on TTRPGs.

You think Fields introduced Burt to Lumon? You think he had a say in whether this dinner happened or not? The number of people who walked away from the last Severance episode thinking Fields is evil and a bad partner is insane to me.
It's one thing to not like him or find him off-putting, that whole scene had a weird energy (on purpose!) but how do you come away from it thinking Fields is the dangerous, sinister one in that couple?
Your desire for a Perfect Unproblematic Ship where nothing is complicated and anyone who's "in the way" is evil will be your undoing.
I'll be over here losing my mind about the morally grey Cold War spy sex that Burt and Irving will have while Fields watches and jerks off onto a picture of Keir's face (for therapeutic reasons), and you'll be making discourse posts. We are not the same.
