Hi! My name is Cal!

I'm a veteran of the Tumblr Fantroll community since about 2011. I'm long since past my expiration date but I haven't gotten the memo yet, so the lot of you are stuck with me. I've seen my fair share of people come and go and yet the sweet siren call of RPing grey aliens keeps dragging me back.

Anyway, I have quite literally hundreds of trolls, but I typically only use a handful of them at any given time just because that's an absolutely absurd amount of profiles to make. If you want to hear about any of them, feel free to come into my inbox and give me any sort of character trope or a situation and I can guarantee you I'll have a troll to fit that niche or your money back. You want a hemoloyal 1920s swinger with a crippling fear of death and 9 lives? I gotchu. Do you want a peppy cannibal obsessed with food with a farm who can kidnap people and hold them hostage like a slasher film? I gotchu. Do you want a candy red blooded militantly enthusiastic clown? An old as balls ex-fleet colonel living out his retirement? A fleet captain who's secretly trying to shove rebel wrenches in the Empire’s gears? You want it, I got it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about stories and characters, so I typically like to focus on RPs that aren't always threads with the intended aim of shipping. Long, overarching plotlines is like catnip to me and sitting down and discussing the consequences of our trolls actions is one of my favorite things to do. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm looking for serious shit - I just go for what's fun! Absurd shitposts of encounters where our trolls are just The Hangover: Alternia Edition are some of my favorite things to write too because I've got a sense of fucking humor. I also don’t ship with people right away - I prefer to get to know people and make friends before I start committing a troll towards a ship.

I can do longform RP and script, and I love worldbuilding! Just ask me about my psionic categorization and rating headcanons, or my jadeblood headcanons.

Heads up, I am 27 so I DO NOT ROLEPLAY WITH OR ALLOW ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 TO FOLLOW MY FANTROLL BLOG. While I don’t RP smut on main, I may roleplay violent scenarios and may touch upon some mature themes.

Because of this, If I find anyone who's a minor or does not have an age on their blog (whether it's on a mun page or elsewhere), I WILL SOFTBLOCK YOU.

Contemplating today about the passage of time and how I spent a smidge over one third of my life in homestuck - specifically fantrolls - and how it has directly shaped both the way I write, the content I consume, the friends I still hold fast with today, and the fact that my wife whom I love and WILL start a family with met in a silly little fantroll join.me stream nine years ago
