We can all agree I hope that the clip Penelope pushed from her hair at the Danbury ball will show up later in the season in Colin’s possession, right?

You are allowed to dislike season 3 of Bridgerton all you want (because everyone is allowed to have bad opinions), but if I see someone say that Colin was “out of character” ONE MORE TIME, I may commit a crime.

I’m sorry, but if at the end of Bridgerton S3 doesn’t have Pen and Colin hosting a masquerade ball and Benedict dancing with a woman in silver and her running away at the end of the episode and her butler/maid friend asks her; “Everything alright, Miss Beckett?” and then the episode cuts to black. I. Will. Riot.

Colin: I don’t like you like that Penelope, you just light up every room you enter, I get butterflies whenever we make eye contact, my tummy hurts when I don’t see you, you’re my favorite person on this earth, if I have to see you giving any attention another guy I’m gonna cry…

Shonda Rhimes and Julia Quinn: Colin and Penelope have a glow-up this season and become super cool and confident flirts with loads of swagger

Luke and Nicola: Colin and Penelope are LOSERS and they live in LOSER-TOWN where all the NERDS hang out

I love the difference between Pen and Colin. She’s loved him for years, silently but unwavering. While he’s just come to the realisation that somewhere along the line he’s fallen completely head over heels for her and he is UNHINGED about it. All I’m saying is Colin wouldn’t last a minute in the asylum where they raised her.

So you’re telling me that Penelope has survived literals YEARS watching the person she was in love with flirt with other people, but Colin barely lasted a WEEK tops before he was reduced to this

Media literacy found dead in a ditch when it comes to Colin Bridgerton always. If I see one more comment going “I thought his flirty stuff was cringe/fake/unattractive” “Colin was out of character, it’s like they gave him a new personality” as if that wasn’t the entire point of the story they were telling I’m going to lose it.

They have multiple people in the show tell you that Colin is acting weird and out of character, and your critique is that you thought he was out of character???? If you don’t like it, good! You’re not supposed to like it!

They spell out for you through Lady Whistledown in episode ONE that Colin has gone too far with his new personality changes. They have his mother call him out for people pleasing and asking him to drop the act. They have Colin himself admit to Penelope that he’s been suppressing his feelings just to get by.

Colin is not a hard character to understand, at this point I have to believe people are pretending not to get it on purpose.

Guys Colin wouldn’t dream of courting Penelope because they aren’t courting they go straight to being engaged…he’s following the four fs it goes friends, feelings, fingering, fiancés.

funny how we went from daphne and simon having that really terrible forced scene to kate and anthony having the “i will stop.” “do not stop.” and now it’s penelope asking and begging for a kiss and colin looking at her for permission before slipping under her dress. it’s almost like they realized we think consent is ✨ sexy ✨

Colin: men are simple creatures, just bat your eyes and wave your fan.

Penelope: *bats her eyes and waves her fan*

Colin (sweating): Fuck she’s good.
