now that i am a real adult i am starting to realise. media lied to me about the availability of rooftops to go hang out on. every day i wish i could be hanging out on a rooftop somewhere looking cool as fuck

I literally love this.

I couldn't stop laughing for 20 minutes.

No joke.

This has the same energy as a writer desperately trying to make their insanely cool but devastatingly off the wall plot point work with the rest of the story

"blossom wants a problem not a solution" 😭

I have this useless headcanon that Blossom and Boomer are horrible at keeping up with trends and fads, Butch and Bubbles are both really bad with directions and Brick and Buttercup are absolutely sh*t at dealing with authority

LOL that’s funny I always think boomer is pretty trendy like he knows what’s in style but he’s like very…tone deaf (?)so it always comes off like wrong either that or he beats something into the ground and everyone is like begging him to stop

Hey Taylor what's your favorite musical (the others can answer if they want too)

That's actually kinda hard. Can I give a top 3?

Sure, I don't think they'll mind.

Cool 👌 Gotta say Sweeney Todd, Beetlejuice and Les Mis. Definitely a fan of horror comedy and the music in Les Mis is just peak honestly I cry every time.

What about the rest of you? You gotta have at least one being friends with Taylor

Oh I really like She Loves Me. Huge fan of enemies to lovers. Maybe I just like fanfiction 😅

I know it's cliche but Wicked. I just relate to Elphaba and you can't say it's not good.

Hadestown hands down. Greek mythology mixed with a sudo 1920s jazz style. Iconic

I'm a comedy guy so I'll say Something Rotten. I think I wanna be that Shakespeare

Dante is the only one who would go. But Taylor and Sonny almost went one year.

My parents mostly saw it as a way to get me out of the house during Summer it being the only camp in town. But now that I'm older thank god I don't have to go. For starters I've always hated the Witch Wood. It's definitely haunted and the trees feel like they're watching you. And the rumours about an axe wilding maniac are also probably true. Plus the counselors are all wack jobs especially boy Jerry. He had a real problem when I showed up one year wearing eyeliner and painted nails. Said I was heading towards the path of "no return". The only good thing is that my best friend Daniel was forced to go sometimes so at least I would have a friend.

The songs are kinda bops though

Yikes that's awful.

Yeah thankfully we were able to talk dad out of sending us.

Not really the "fun wholesome breath of fresh air" it was advertised to be.

The combination of Papa Titan's dad bod and voice give him the vibe of a dad napping in a recliner at 4 in the afternoon only to jolt awake the moment you touch the remote and I love him for it.

Like, I've seen this man in my house and I love it.

The old school lack of transparency on tumblr is amazing because you assume the people you follow must all be equivalent to you and then you see someone write “I brought my youngest to college today” and someone else write “my mom wouldn’t let me listen to Ariana Grande when I was a kid” and then your head explodes

Then I'm just like WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE AN ADULT

It goes the other way, too, because WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE A CHILD?!!

I'm 16, that's like, barely a child

I'm in my 30s. You are baby

I'm older than both of you in a trenchcoat.

honestly one of the best things we can do for ourselves is realize that people of different ages than us can still be the same kind of person as us. it's humbling and it gives everyone involved a sense of continuity, and it busts those stupid generational stereotypes media is so fond of.
