WIP Game
Saw this from @glorf1ndel and I thought, yes! I need help making progress actually. 😂
Rules:
- In a new post, post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.
- Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We’re posting progress here. If you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to post!
- After you’ve posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. You must then write 3 sentences in that file. If the filename is one you can’t share from (for example, an event fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.

Summary:
Glorfindel, Lord of the House of the Golden Flower, struggles to reconcile his love for his friends with his horror of their actions at Alqualondë. but when Erestor Fëanorian is trapped in Gondolin after its closing, he finds himself dangerously attracted to this most Fëanorian of men.
Erestor Fëanorian knows no other love than that for the House of Fëanor and his lord Maglor. But when he finds himself alone among the suspicious Gondolindrim, he strikes a strange friendship with a man unlike any he has met before.
But even as Turgon isolates Gondolin from the rest of Middle Earth, Glorfindel and Erestor cannot isolate themselves from their pasts.

Gil-galad & Elrond for the writing prompt! :)
He bent to pick the object up from the tangle of sea-wrack:a child’s toy boat, on which an unsteady hand had carefully inscribed Rothinzil. He made no sound, but sank tohis knees in the wet sand and remained there as the cold waters lapped at hislegs. After a moment Gil-Galad rested a hand on his shoulder.
“Well,” said Elrond in a cold, clotted, distant voice, “atleast no fleet in arms will make for us out of the West; we were spared that atleast, and so we are happy.”
Gil-Galad’s hand tightened slightly, but he said nothing.
