The first of six storyboards as part of a sequence I'm recreating from the fantastic D&D campaign, High Rollers: Aerois! This sequence is from episode 4, where the Guardian Paladin, Sentry, faked-out a savage elf with her shield! PLEASE let me know if you have any feedback or critique on my storyboard quality!!!

In 2016, I wrote a non-fiction short story about a moment where I didn't realize I was in a "Netflix and Chill" situation. To date, it is probably my favorite short story I've ever written. Upon taking Acting 1 at Shasta College, I discovered I had to do a comedic monologue for the class. I knew I had no other option than to transcribe this story into monologue form...

I’m currently taking an acting course at Shasta College and today, I performed my second run of a monologue from Composure, by Scott Sickles.

In this scene, my character, Christopher Blake, is confessing the real story behind a school shooting, which took place exactly one year prior, which happened at the exact spot where he's standing, and which he believes his actions are responsible for its occurrence.

Medium: Acting!

Ok, here's the legit revision of my first expression sheet that's going into my revised portfolio to use for transferring to better animation programs! In case anyone's wondering, I'll be using this portfolio to attempt tranfer into either Laguna College of Art and Design or CSU Long Beach!

Medium: Pencil, arranged in Photoshop.

Another gallery is coming that I’m privileged to be apart of! Again residing at Risen King Community Church, this gallery is called 40 Day Feast and its art is focused on certain passages and verses in the Bible ranging from Genesis to Joshua. This time around, I have three pieces in the show and the opening reception will be on January 28th, starting at 10:30! Hope y’all can see it!

Media: Compressed Charcoal. Digital.

Another piece I’ve been working! I had never done any wood carving ever before but I found it to be really relaxing, even though it was super stressful to do at first.

This is a recreation, on a block of basswood, of a photo of a silk sheet, which is why I call this piece Holy Sheet, Basswood!

Medium: basswood carving

I have four pieces being showcased in the upcoming gallery, “Welcome Home!”, opening this Sunday, December 3rd!

This small gallery is presented by the King’s Creative Guild of Risen King Community Church, which I’m apart of, and it’s focusing on the theme of home and how Christmas reminds us of home. If you’d like to come to the opening reception, I’ll be there along side my artwork for anyone who has questions or just wants to say hi!

The reception will begin at 10:30am, following the church service which starts at 9, and will end around 1pm. It’ll be held at Risen King Community Church, located at 6100 Oasis Road, Redding, CA 96003. Hope y’all can make it!
