"As a tree broke through the realms, so too did a girl's heart."

Out of all the images to do after not having the time and/or energy to do art for so long, this was a nice one to do.

I didn't talk with @moisellethefae about Moiselle's curse that kept her from planeswalking when I started this (and I still haven't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), but once I got the idea I had to put it down. I've had a couple ideas of proxy/alt card art that I've been wanting to do, but it's taking me forever to pen the ideas (and also decide which are for what).

I've missed out on doing art of my girls in any of the magic sets in for so long (or any art for that matter. Having a full time job sucks ass)...

but, dead-ass, seeing the fucking Bloomburrow art being anounced and getting furry Ral and Jace is so funny with the implication that planeswalkers either need a disguise or are transformed on the plane is hilarious.

And I wasn't sure how I'd like Outlaws of Thunder Junction when it was first announced, but I'm digging some of the art so far. I'm still a little iffy on it, but it's starting to grow on me.

Just some idea for the Roles you came up with, I love each of them by the way. Trickster: "Enchanted creature has "when this creature becomes block you may return it to you hand" Outcast: "Enchanted creature has +2/+0 and has Menace." Oracle: "Enchanted creature has +1/+1 and "When this creature attacks surveil 1" Guardian: "Enchanted creature deals damage equal to its toughness"

Omen: Enchanted creature has "Creatures dealt combat damage by enchanted creature are sacrifice during the next end step."

Ooo I really like Omen's delayed deathtouch-esque ability!

Been having a blast with Wilds of Eldraine, so I wanted to ask if your oc had their own special Role just for them what would it be called and what would it do?

I really want to stick with names that could work inside fairytale and really try to hit the archetypes.

I think Halona's could be "Trickster" since the name and themes behind it fit her to a T, but the mechanics are a little tough. They already used ward for Royal and hexproof is too strong for a common enchantment. I think to fit in with other cards with trickster in the name it could be "Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has 'Tap: Tap or untap target permanent you don't control.'"

I think something like "Outcast" would fit Nireta. It wouldn't encapsulate her newer changes, but it does fit her core themes. I don't know if it would gain any power or toughness, but it would definitely have at least "Enchanted creature has skulk."

The name "Oracle" doesn't fully capture Pahandi, but I think it's a broad enough name that it could be used as a card. Scry would be the correct choice for this, but the Sorcerer role already does what I want so I think it would just be whenever enchanted creature attacks, do Ponder without the draw.

I'm stuck on Catrina. The two I'm stuck between are "Guardian" which fits her more white side and "Ill Omen" which fits her black side. Neither one strikes me as something specifically fairytale or folk-ish. I think Ill Omen fits the dark tones of her and evens out the unspoken color distribution the roles so far have been going with. Mechanically, it'd be similar to Wicked where it has a sacrifice trigger, but I'm not sure what. Maybe it shocks or bolts a target?

It has been far to hot recently so I would like to know how dose your ocs deal with the heat?

Avatar

Halona probably has the easiest time with hot weather. She grew up in a tropical world and has a much better knowledge of her physical limits being very active and all. Being a lover of the ocean, her go to way to stay cool is swimming.

Nireta is the kind of person who says she handles heat real well, but actually not as well as she thinks. While she grew up in a warmer climate like Halona, she isn't as used to the same level of heat and humidity. Plus, her latest long stays on other planes (Ravnica and Arcavios) have had much more temperate climates comparatively. If she were in this heat, she'd be heavily contemplating going to a plane that's currently in winter.

Catrina's homeplane being more Ireland/Scotland/Britain inspired is stereotypically much cooler. In theory, she'd be the worst at handling the heat, but given the fact that her powers come from taking the strengths and endurance from the things she kills, she just toughs it out.
