The story this comes from is a glimpse into the future of Shade. It does not necessarily reflect the ending.
I just want to correct one minor confusion on my post. I used the word permanently without thinking.
I do plan to return to my blog one day but I need to shift my focus elsewhere for now.
Chances are likely I'll return to it once I've settled a couple big things down in my life causing me stress.
I'm predicting next year at latest I'll return.
While the spark is semi gone, I don't want things to end here either. So I'll do my best to return with a bang when I do!
My apologies on any misunderstanding from my post. If you'd still like asks from me while I'm shut down, feel free to send me a message and I'll do that when I get a chance.
It's been a long run for Shade and the gang and I've had a long time trying to think about this.
It is with a heavy heart that I've decided to shut down this blog permanently. I'll leave it up but I'm planning to drop tumblr out of my life and move on to Twitter.
I've had a hard time feeling the motivation to continue since the great collapse and I've gotten some really uncomfortable and bad memories in recent times with Tumblr.
I had a lot of good memories in the past and I'll always treasure them. If I ever do get time to focus on writing more stories then I'll find a way to share them via Twitter.
I don't really plan to ever return to Tumblr as I've lost my heart here and I'm just not finding the same feeling I used to enjoy here.
It really hurts to shut down this blog but I'm just not finding that spark I had here all those years ago anymore.
I just keep finding more and more reasons to move away and so I will.
I'm glad all of you loved the gang so much. If you wish to stay in touch, I'll always be available on Twitter and discord.

I know who you are and I appreciate the apology. I'm glad you're finally seeing how messed up what you did was.
I genuinely and truly considered you a friend at one point and you had broken that trust long ago.
The doors on returning to even being friends with me are staying closed permanently. I do however appreciate the apology and wish you the best on becoming a better person.
Remember that one time I asked for flying type eeveelutions/ eeveelutions with wing? Yeah I finally finished it! Thank you all for sending flying Eevee’s!

I essentially abandoned this blog after I lost heart and motivation. So much went wrong for me and I've gone through a very difficult climb to get back to a somewhat stable position again.
To those that have been waiting to see more content from this blog, I'm really sorry for the wait. I honestly felt lost for a while in trying to find myself again.
I struggled with pain, guilt, rage and more and I didn't want to return until I could get them under control to an extent.
I've had help from @maple-and-pie and @snackbunnii and a friend of mine called Fabi to recover and I really am grateful to them for that.
I honestly don't know if I'll ever fully recover, I just try my best to push along. But on to my main point though, soon, I promise I'm going to push through a lot for this blog and hopefully make it mean something again.
This means my main interactions will be with @sometimes-trickster-fox but I do also intend to send Shade and the team out to other blogs as well.
I have also had to retcon or drop a few story arcs which will no longer be considered canon due to the involved people so I'll be rewriting certain arcs as I go.
Finally, I intend to get chapter 2 written and going soon.
One bonus point too for those that have been waiting. With the help of my main mentor Snacks and I've requested some extra assistance from Maple, I plan to finally return to the art world and bring some love and care to the cast.
There'll be big changes happening soon and I want to thank you for your patience and help.

Shade: Mega Absol Team leader, kind and considerate.
Myst: Vaporeon that is shy and very nervous of others. She likes to bring gifts and is considered a water warrior.
Luna: Map data collector and has the ability to change forms using Phase Shift. An umbreon that is childhood friends with an espeon called Sol. He is smart and resourceful
Sol: Helps Luna with the maps and is an espeon who is childhood friends with Luna. She's a very cheeky and naughty natured espeon who can also change forms in a similar manner to Luna.
Sol is known to be playful usually but certain things can and will bring her rage out.
Swift: Team Inventor and Engineer. A skarmory with the tech and know how to create a lot of required items the team might need.
??? : A mystery member not currently available for asks but might be joining the Team soon ~
I had a lot of help on the side which really helped pull me back together. I know I made that hiatus message rather quickly and already removed it but I didn't expect to get helped as much as I did and so quickly already.
I promise I won't put it on hiatus again. Thank you guys and I'm really sorry to worry you.

The bio pages for Sol and Swift have finally been unlocked. Both of these characters still need a proper reference though. For now, they currently have bio information.
{{the-void-between-worlds-or-something}} "No-zu-mi~ where art thouu." Rime said as they stumbled around the Zephyr base. Her stumbling came to an end as she could not keep her balance anymore and fell down. "The enemy strikes again... stop shaking you screen of hell. "Rime said as she kept laying on the spot, mumbling to herself annoyingly, with no move to get back up.
(A new character of mine that was in secret development for a while. Not much is known about this mysterious absol except that she is a talented singer and dancer.)
A mysterious burst of blue flames appears behind Rime and an absol steps out from within.
???: “My, my, you poor thing~ Allow me to help you up.“
The absol lifts Rime up and steadies their balance.
???: “It’s a pleasure to meet you again Rime~
I heard your call and came to visit! My apologies though, I can’t visit this world for a long time. It depends on the spiritual energy I have left in me. I should have more than enough energy though to spend some time with you~“
Nozumi: “So do tell me, what on earth happened to you my dear precious Rime~“
Nozumi paces around them closely with a sinister smile and grins at them. Her tail gently curling around Rime.
Kurai @ Shade: When the Zorua spotted the Absol she called out to them “Hey! We are selling cookies here, do you maybe want to buy some, we don’t have a lot of costumers yet…” Kurai began to say confidently but trailed off at the end. ((sometimes-trickster-fox))
“Cookies!!!“ Shade yells excitedly.
“I’ll gladly buy a bunch for the entire team to enjoy! Don’t worry, I can handle delivering them to base using a special pendant of mine.“
Shade grins and reveals a small moon pendant that hangs underneath their scarf.

“Welp that was a close one…” Rime said out of breath, looking around and listening to the conversation of the two others.
“Also Shade we know each other you silly~ Or did you forget me? Hmm maybe you did, but that is fine!” Rime said to the Absol as they looked back at the Chespin.
“I’m pretty sure I am a Sylveon and Glaceon combo, some freak accident with an icy rock happened.” She said with a shrug. “ I am exploring on my own tho but back to you now, what a lovely smile you have~” She said with a smug grin.
“Smiles go for Miles eh~”
“ A-Ah, thank you for the uhm… Unexpected hug then! ( Just next time please don’t come at me so close to a cliff, I thought I saw my life flashing before my eyes ). “ came the mumbled end, a flustered look upon his face before he blinked and peered from one ‘mon to the other.
And JUST when he was about to open his mouth to speak his name, did the other already do so. In a way that made eyes widen.
WOAH. Was she PSYCHIC along with Fairy and Ice?? “ Miles! That’s my NAME! “ he uttered out, giving a somewhat shy grin. It seemed he hadn’t been able to divert attention from WHY he was up here though, drats…
“ I was… Erk. It probably sounds STUPID but I’ve been… Contemplating on what to do… S - See I wanna join this awesome guild but… “ he wriggled a bit, fidgeting nervously with his paws.
But he couldn’t very well join without a partner and enough courage…
“ I - I mean it’s not THAT important… “
“ I’m just a bit… Unsure how to present myself to this guild… What if I get a partner who HATES me? O-or worse. What if they don’t want to partner up with me at ALL. What if I come there and I’ll be rejected? ERK… The idea alone freezes me up! “
“Listen here you! You’ll do just fine! You’ve gotta just buck up that courage of yours and give it a shot! I mean if you don’t try, you’ll never know~”
Shade approaches Miles and calmly gives him a hug before stepping away.
“Tell you what Miles. If you try and join this guild and do your best for me. I promise that I’ll be around to help you out on a mission if you ever need it one day. I might also give you something special once we get to know each other a bit more~“
Shade then returns to face Rime
“My apologies Rime, I honestly don’t know what happened but I remember you now. It’s coming back to me.”

Hi everyone,
As you may by now be aware, on the 3rd of Feb, 2019, our dear Kizzy (Kizmetto #59149, @duskthicketbonepicker), passed away from bowel cancer.
Kiz meant a lot to a lot of people. She was always kind and generous and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. We understand that she impacted many people, whether you knew her for years, or just enjoyed her dragons, art, or tumblr posts coming up on your dash.
We would like to organise a tribute to her from the FR community that meant so much to her. Our plan is to buy one of those giant condolence cards, and fill it with messages from anyone online that would like to leave a message. Shadowdawn199 (#148774) @enchantinggoblin is planning to attend Kiz’s funeral, and will deliver the card to Kizzy’s parents and family.
So, if you would like to have your message included, please send it via tumblr ask, or FR pm, to one of us:

We don’t know the funeral date just yet, so we would kindly ask for you to get your messages in to us as soon as possible, so we can get the card ready.
