In the words of someone I follow on Twitter “the world of WJC pairings moves so fast” and so does this tournament.

Its because once upon a time I had so much faith in this comic, in this story, in these characters. And yet for me personally time and time again I have been let down and disappointed by the way they have be portrayed. Giving up on this comic has been a long and slow process for me at least, so yes I will be angry, and I will be critical, and I will give it the credit it was due because at one point I did LOVE this comic, this comic gave me my best friend, it gave me for a period of time characters that I could relate to and empathise with, however that time has past.
So yes maybe you cant understand why I keep intermittently coming back to something I have so much ‘disdain’ for but the sad fact is I don’t hate the comic even if I disagree with what is become. What I am is let down over and over again by narratively unfulfilling story lines, unrealistic plots, and in my opinion a complete disregard towards certain characters story lines and personal growth. But thats just my opinion and if yours is different I’m really fucking pleased that you can enjoy this but for me despite how often I keep trying to find what I used to love about it again, it just keeps slipping further and further out of reach. With this update in particular making me feel physically sick to my stomach.
Anyway if you disagree. cool. but be critical of the media you consume or at the fucking least let other people be critical.
Also it would have cost you $0 to not send this ask but thanks for the free therapy session I guess.

Hi All,
As some of you may already know this week I’m participating in a fundraiser called Live Below The Line which participants ‘live’ below the extreme poverty line of $2 AUD a day for 5 days in an attempt the raise funds and awareness for people living in similar conditions in South East Asia.
Live Below the Line fundraising money then goes to funding sustainable, inclusive, innovative education supplying things like textbooks, student scholarships and teacher training.
This year I’m trying to raise $500, the amount needed to provide training to two teachers in Cambodia or Timor Leste. I’m getting pretty close to my goal already but any and all is welcomed with donations even as small as the cost of your morning coffee going a long way.
Additionally, for today’s Oilers-Ducks game my self-appointed mascot, Mr Tiny Pumpkin Man will be donating $5 for every goal scored (which if you can read between the lines means that I am donating $5 for every goal scored), which I think is a fun way to get closer to my fundraising total with minimal stress and pain for everyone involved (who am I kidding its a ducks oilers playoff game).
Mr Tiny Pumpkin Man is also available to support your team for donations of $5. unless you’re a ducks fan, then well we might have to talk.

honestly, i have beaten this topic to death. and yet still the double standard people hold for jack vs kent still manages to a s t o u n d me
