Hello everyone!! I know it’s been a hot minute since there’s been some proper communication on this end, but just a reminder that we DO have a Discord server you can join to talk to other participants, the person running this blog (gasp!), and maybe give some suggestions!

One final goodbye.

Hey guys! Johnmod here. I’m sure you’ve already seen Rosemod’s post, and unfortunately I’m gonna have to follow in her steps a bit.

I am also relinquishing the mantle of admin of this wonderful week. This was the first Homestuck ship I ever had, and hoo boy I sure had a lot of fun these past three years. Thank you guys so much for being apart of them! I’ve loved every single bit of content that was released in honor of these two dweebs.

Don’t worry though, you guys are in very, very capable hands! Also, this isn’t the last you’ll see of us. We’re probably going to participate in the future ones.

Rosemod here for one last announcement. JohnRose was my first ever Homestuck ship and will always have a special place in my heart. This ship week was founded by my love for this pairing, its community, and the connections I’ve made through it.

Luckily for you all, this ship week is now in the hands of someone else (someone who is very cool). A big thank you for everyone who offered to take over; we can ensure you that every one of them was carefully considered and very much appreciated.

Thank you for a wonderful three years.

The end of an era.

Hello everyone! Johnmod & Rosemod here.

Unfortunately, as today is the last day of JohnRose week, that also means that it is the end of the era of me and Rosemod. We were the original creators and admins of this week, and we gotta say, it’s been an amazing 3 years! So much love and support has come out for this silly little idea, and words cannot express how happy that has made us.

(Of course, there was a fair deal of hate, too, but that’s not the point ;B)

What we are really happy about is the amount of people that, well, “came out of hiding” per say. It seems that this idea spurned a lot of new artwork and fanfictions for a ship that wasn’t seeing a lot of new content, as well as just Homestuck in general! We are extremely grateful for that! So many lovely drawings, ideas, and stories that may not have been created before. You all have done such an amazing job and we love you all for it.

We want to be really clear that this doesn’t have to be the end forever! People other than us are more than welcome to take over the reigns and lead into a new era of JohnRose.

Well, that’s to say, if people would really prefer us to keep the reigns? Maybe. Who knows? We sure as hell don’t.
