➾ loosely based off The Handmaid’s Tale. In the New World Order that is Gilead, your life depends on your ability to bring a new one into existence. 

➾ warnings: unprotected sex, mentions of infertility, pregnancy, mentions of dubcon

➾ a/n: I had serious hesitation and doubts about this. but after a three month break and looking at it from a distance, I still want to go ahead with this AU because I want to draw attention to the themes of reclaiming agency & identity whilst under oppression. So I hope that you could get the message I’m trying to convey rather than focus on the noncon indubitably present in this AU. 

I'm saying this to clearly outline my intentions, for I do not condone rape or non-consensual sex whatsoever.

honestly, mentally im still feeling like its 2020 and that 2019 was just last year so when I realise that 2022 is in less than 6 months, I kinda get a jolt of surprise. I dearly hope you're well too 💓

omg 😭 yes I remember! and I myself was feeling really nostalgic just a few weeks ago so I went to re-read some of my own favourite fics and wow. it was nice to relive those few years of my life where things were much simpler and so different! I haven't really written anything new lately due to some circumstances, but I really enjoyed re-reading everything...

about the growing up together thing, I feel the exact same way with you and all of the other readers 😭😭 looking back at all the things I used to write and marvelling at the epic things we did together. it was a good ride and I'm glad it happened :") things are pretty weird with the pandemic of course. I start a new job tomorrow, but for now I'm just trying to get by one day at a time, waiting and hoping for the time we can go back to 'normal'.

nevertheless, im so glad you messaged :D time passes really fast and congrats for your last year in med school!!! things must be tough on you especially now so thank you for putting in the hard work and persevering on. I'll always be rooting for you!

not because of your writing but because i didn't know if it was going to be too much for me and i mean... it was too much but is a really good way. it's honestly one of my favorites stories, the smut is so well written but also i love enemies to lovers aus, jimin's character was too good and oc's character was a badass imo. a serpent’s flower was also amazing (a have the sequel on my to read list) and four seasons my god.. spechless again lol last night i read ocean and it was so so sweet!!(2/3)

I'm sorry the first part of your message got lost 😭 but thank you so so much and the jimin fics you listed are those really special to me (I think I say that about soooo many fics but they are all my children lmao) so I really do hope you enjoy them.

and thank you for your reassurance. it's been really difficult to find motivation or inspiration to write anything lately, and I also kind of look back at my past fics and feel like that was my peak... im just glad they exist and so thankful that so many people have read and enjoyed them.

im crying ahhadhfhhdsh THANK YOU this made me so happy. that whole fic was really a long one in the making. I absolutely love that whole slice of life dynamic between coworkers so I tried really hard to recreate that.
