Whenever they can't sleep in the same bed, Vil will use one of Leona's shirts as pjs for the comfort. Will he wear the stolen goods out in public? Absolutely not. Will he nuzzle his face into them when he misses his boyfriend? Yes.
Leona doesn't figure it out for quite a while but is very smug when he does. He also steals a few things from Vil, like his pillow. But most notably Leona will be the one to steal Vil's last name (Leona Schoenheit), which he will be 100 times more smug about.

My, I couldn’t be more agree with that take~ After all, they’re quite stubborn so, why not apply that characteristic trait of their personality to not wanting to get rid of the other’s scent by any means. Pretty charming!
And Vil will wear Leona’s shirt better that Leona himself. (when he’d be ok to wear it out in public) Can’t fight the oversized bf shirt style 😌

Like both Leona and Vil waking up as villains for a novel trilogy. Vil is the jealous ex of the crown prince from book 1 and Leona is the pining traitor from book two. Book three has the heroine officially destroy the two and live happily ever after.
Leona and Vil going "oh HELL no!" and just teaming up to avoid execution. Skip ahead and they get married and become a villain power couple living their best life while leaving the heroine's plot to rot.
Oh I do love AUs, I have a tones of AUs that I can be drowned. But I must say, that’s not one I usually go for it. I’m a classic girl, most of the AUs in my mind are just "putting them in another media" lmao Though your pitch is quite appealing and I surely read it it it’d be written! <3

Actually, no. Not even death. They're gonna be 85+, cuddling together as they admire the sunset. The decide to take a nap before dinner and just don't wake up.
Cheke helps see to their funeral. They're buried together in an Afterglow equivalent of the Taj Mahal, a symbol of gratitude for all they did for the kingdom and a monument to their love that not even death could touch.

I don't normally do Just Characters Swearing, but. ...this kind of wrote itself and then wouldn't leave my head. it comes from both a piece of character-writing advice that has always stuck with me, and also my conviction that Leona is 1000% funnier as a character if his dialogue has to stay G-rated. let Kalim say fuck, but don't let Leona say bastard.
